- Sprinkle 3 cups pecans over a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan., Preheat oven to 350°. Cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Gradually add flour to creamed mixture, beating well., Spread batter into prepared pan. Combine candied fruit and remaining pecans. Spread fruit and pecans evenly over creamed mixture; press gently to help mixtures adhere. Bake until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, about 1 hour. Sprinkle rum over the top; cool completely in pan on a wire rack. Cut into bars. Store in an airtight container.

- Heat oven to 350°F. Line 13x9-inch baking pan with foil, extending foil over edges; set aside.
- Combine 1 cup butter and sugar in large bowl; beat at medium speed until creamy. Add flour and 1/2 teaspoon salt; mix to combine (mixture will be crumbly). Press into bottom of prepared pan. Bake 20-25 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Remove from oven; let cool while making caramel.
- Stir all Caramel ingredients together except vanilla in heavy-bottomed saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, 20-25 minutes or until candy thermometer reaches 236-239°F. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. (Caramel may be speckled with brown bits.) Pour caramel over baked crust and spread evenly (mixture will be very hot). Let cool 1 1/2 hours.
- Microwave chocolate at 50% power in 30-second intervals until melted and smooth. Spread over cooled caramel; sprinkle with sea salt. Refrigerate 20 minutes or until chocolate is just set. Let bars sit at room temperature 20 minutes before cutting.
- To cut into sticks, remove from pan using foil overhang. Cut bars in half into 2 (9x6 1/2-inch) rectangles. Cut each rectangle into thirds to make 6 (1/2x3-inch) rectangles. Cut each of these rectangles into 8 (3x3/4-inch) sticks.

- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease one 10 inch Bundt pan. Place chopped nuts in the bottom of the Bundt pan.
- With an electric mixer beat cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, oil, 1/2 cup of the water, and 1/2 cup of the rum on high speed for 2 minutes. Pour batter into prepared Bundt pan over the top of the chopped nuts.
- Bake at 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) for 50 to 60 minutes.
- To Make Rum Glaze: In a saucepan combine the butter or margarine, sugar, 1/4 cup of the rum, and 1/4 cup of the water. Bring mixture to a boil and cook for 2 minutes. Pour immediately over still warm cake.

- 1. Heat oven to 375〫F. Grease 13x9x2 inch pan.
- 2. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, oats, nutmeg, and butter at low speed until crumbly. (If mixture is still too moist to crumble, add two level tablespoons oats, one tablespoon flour, and mix to crumbly). Reserve one cup crumbs for topping. To remaining crumbs in bowl, add one egg, blend in egg until well mixed. Press mixture into bottom of prepared baking pan.
- 3. Bake at 375〫for 10 minutes.
- 4. In a mixer bowl, combine all filling ingredients. Beat one minute at medium speed until well mixed. Pour over crust. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Sprinkle with nuts.
- 5. Return to oven and bake 15 to 25 minutes or until golden brown (center will be slightly soft). Cool completely. Cut into 36 bars.

- Melt the chocolate in a double boiler over gently boiling water.
- Beat the egg yolks until thick and lemon colored; gradually stir in about one quarter of the melted chocolate.
- Add the yolks and chocolate to the remaining chocolate in the double boiler, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and add the rum, almond extract and nutmeg.
- Beat the egg white until stiff peaks form.

- Rum Filling: Blend 1/2 cup butter with 1 T. dark rum; add 2 cups unsifted powdered sugar; stir until smooth.
- Chocolate Frosting: Mix chocolate chips with 2 Tbsp butter. Place over pan of simmering water; stir until melted and smooth.
- Cream butter and sugar uintil smooth. Add egg and beat until fluffy. Stir in vanilla, crumbs, coconut and walnuts.
- Press into greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan until smooth.
- Bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Cool thoroughly and spread with Rum Filling. Spread rum filling with Chocolate Frosting. Chill. Cut into 1-inch squares.
- These can be frozen for several weeks in an airtight container.
