5 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
1 pint fresh strawberries with leaves

Steps:

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, or in the top of a double boiler over simmering water, cook chocolate until melted. Stir occasionally until chocolate is smooth. Holding berries by the stem, dip each one in molten chocolate, about three-quarters of the way to the stem. Place, stem side down, on wire rack and chill in refrigerator until hardened.

Easy Strawberry Chocolate Banana Bread image

This is not your average Strawberry banana bread! Optional chocolate chips and fresh ingredients make this bread a sweet delight the whole family will love.

1 ½ cup all purpose flour
⅔ cup white sugar (*)
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
3 over ripe bananas
⅓ cup melted coconut oil or butter (*)
2 eggs (room temp)
1 tsp vanilla extract
⅓ cup chocolate chips (optional)
⅔ cup chopped strawberries (Fresh preferred)
⅓ cup granola (optional for topping the bread)
1/2 Tsp cinnamon (optional banana bread flavor )
1/3 Tsp ground nutmeg (optional for classic banana bread flavor )

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350. Mash up the bananas, chop the strawberries. Separate 4 tbsp of strawberries to side for topping the bread with. Add all your dry ingredients into one bowl: baking powder and baking soda, flour, sugar, chocolate chips, granola if using. Keep 3 tbsp of chips and granola to the side for topping the bread. Whisk the mixture i the bowl well.
  • Add all the wet ingredients together in another bowl. Vanilla, eggs, oil bananas, strawberries (not the amount used for topping). The rest will be added on top of the bread mid-way cooking!
  • Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and fold together. Do not over mix! Pour mix into greased bread loaf pan or a parchment lined loaf pan. Bake for 55 minutes.For the toppings:: pull bread out at 30 minutes place extra toppings over the brad and return to oven and bake the remaining time - about 25 more minutes. The top will be lightly browned. Be sure to check the middle with a toothpick to ensure it's baked through. The toothpick will come out clean. Let the bread rest and cool completely before removing from loaf pan and slicing.

1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
5 strawberries, halved with stems removed

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400ºF (200ºC).
  • In a small bowl, melt the chocolate chips.
  • Cut puff pastry in half.
  • Cut slits 1 inch (2 cm) apart on both ends of the pastry, leaving the middle section untouched.
  • Spread half of the chocolate spread and sliced strawberries on the center third.
  • Starting at one end, fold the pastry strips over the chocolate/strawberry mixture, alternating sides until mixture is completely covered.
  • Repeat for second half of puff pastry.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes.
  • Enjoy!

Moist strawberry bread that is so easy to make. Perfect spring recipe.

1 cup strawberries, (diced)
2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
1/2 cup salted butter, (softened)
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup water
1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a loaf pan and set aside.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the strawberries and 2 Tablespoons of flour until the strawberries are coated. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add in the eggs and vanilla, and mix until fully combined. Add in the baking powder and salt.
  • Slowly mix in the yogurt, water and flour until fully incorporated. Fold in the strawberries.
  • Pour the mixture in the prepared loaf pan, and bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool in the pan for around 10 minutes, then remove from pan and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
2/3 to 1 cup granulated sugar
½ cup canola oil, (melted unsalted butter or melted coconut oil - melted and cooled to room temperature)
½ cup almond milk or 3/4 cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt or buttermilk
1 large egg - at room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla extract or almond extract
2 cups small diced strawberries
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon almond milk or milk of choice
Optional: add ⅓ cup finely chopped strawberries to glaze for extra strawberry pizazz!!

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray. Line with parchment paper, then lightly grease again with parchment overhand on sides for easy removal after baked. Set aside.

1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • Add 1/8 C of the sugar to the strawberries and let stand while combining other ingredients.
  • Beat the remaining sugar, eggs, oil, and yogurt together.
  • Stir in the pistachio nuts - I ground mine almost to a powder in the food processor.
  • Sift together the flour, soda, salt and cinnamon and stir into the sugar mixture.
  • Stir in the vanilla, dates and the standing strawberries with any juice.
  • Lastly, stir in the melted chocolate.
  • Pour the mixture into a loaf pan sprayed with non-stick spray.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes.
