12 -24 pretzel sticks
1 lb almond bark or 1 lb chocolate bark
2 cups finely chopped pecans

Steps:

  • Bring water to a boil in saucepan and remove from stove.
  • Set bowl onto pan so that the water comes about halfway up the outside of the bowl.
  • Then add chocolate bark to bowl.
  • Stir until chocolate is smooth.
  • Dip pretzel stick into chocolate then roll in the nuts.
  • Pecans are optional, use you imagination and use other nuts or candies.
  • Set onto wax paper until chocolate is solid again.

  • Coat lightly with sprinkles; place on prepared tray.

2 cups JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows
2 cups pretzel sticks, coarsely broken
1/2 cup PLANTERS NUT•rition Antioxidant Mix

Steps:

  • Microwave chocolate and peanut butter in medium microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 to 3 min. or until chocolate is almost melted, stirring after 1-1/2 min. Stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended.
  • Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
  • Drop tablespoonfuls of chocolate mixture into 30 mounds on waxed paper-covered baking sheet. Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm.

3 cups chopped toasted almonds
2 packages (14 ounces each) caramels, unwrapped
2 tablespoons water
2 packages (10 ounces each) pretzel rods
2 packages (10 to 12 ounces each) white baking chips
2 packages (10 to 12 ounces each) dark chocolate chips
Assorted sprinkles, optional

Steps:

  • Place almonds in a shallow dish. In a large glass measuring cup, microwave caramels and water on high until caramels are melted, stirring every minute., Dip three-fourths of each pretzel into caramel, allowing excess to drip off. (Reheat caramel in microwave if mixture becomes too thick for dipping.) Roll in almonds. Place on waxed paper until set. , In a microwave, melt white baking chips; stir until smooth. Dip half of the caramel-coated pretzels in white baking chips, allowing excess to drip off. Add sprinkles if desired; return to waxed paper to set. Repeat with chocolate chips and remaining pretzels., Store in airtight containers or wrap in cellophane gift bags and tie with ribbon.

2 cups crushed pretzels
¼ cup peanuts
⅔ cup sweetened condensed milk
½ cup semisweet chocolate chips
½ cup butterscotch chips
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • In a large mixing bowl combine pretzels and peanuts. Set aside.
  • In a medium saucepan mix together condensed milk, chocolate chips and butterscotch chips. Cook over low heat stirring constantly until chips are melted (about 5 minutes). Remove pan from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  • Pour saucepan mixture over the pretzel/peanut mixture and stir until thoroughly coated. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto waxed paper or foil. Cool (or chill) until firm. Store in covered container in cool place (or in fridge).

I make these often for bake sales and around the holidays. They are so adaptable for any special event and great for all ages.

Yield 30 chocolate pretzels

Number Of Ingredients 7

10 ounces pretzel sticks (Pretzel RODS)
12 ounces milk chocolate chips (or melting disks)
1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
candy sprinkles (optional)
miniature M&M's chocolate candies (optional)
mini Reese's pieces (optional)
chopped peanuts (optional)

Steps:

  • Melt milk chocolate chips in double boiler or in microwave (be careful not to burn in the micro).
  • If you are using the white chocolate, wait until later before melting unless you can keep it over warm water.
  • Dip each pretzel rod about 2/3 of the way up in chocolate.
  • Lay on wax paper lined baking sheets, lining up the rods but leave a bit of space between them.
  • Allow to set a little, but not completely dry (while waiting, make sure your white chocolate is ready).
  • Dip a fork into the white chocolate and drizzle over the milk chocolate by gently swishing the fork back and forth over the rods but not touching them.
  • Place your sprinkles or candies on a paper plate and roll each pretzel rod in desired topping (or just sprinkle on).
  • Lay back on wax paper to set completely.
  • These look great displayed in, or given in, a unique glass or mug.
