CHOCOLATE CLEARING FACIAL

Yield enough for 2 facials

Number Of Ingredients 6

Ingredients

3 tablespoons oatmeal
1/2 cup powdered unsweetened cocoa
1/2 ripe avocado, pitted and removed from skin
3 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup heavy cream, plus a little bit to adjust consistency
1 tablespoon cottage cheese

Steps:

Put oatmeal in a blender and grind until it is a fine powder. Combine the oatmeal powder in a bowl with the remaining ingredients. Mix until thoroughly combined, use the back of a spoon to work in the avocado. Add a splash more of heavy cream if the mixture is too stiff, it should be the consistency of frosting. Using your finger tips gently apply the mixture to your face keeping clear of you eye lids and the delicate skin under the eye. Keep on for 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water.

I saw a special on FoodTV about the Hershey Spa and found this recipe on the internet. Note that "prep time" includes the time needed for leaving the facial on your face.

1/2 cup cocoa powder
4 tablespoons heavy cream
3 teaspoons cottage cheese
3 teaspoons ripe avocados
1/4 cup honey
3 tablespoons oatmeal, powder

Steps:

In a bowl, mix ingredients together.
Apply to face.
Leave on face for ten minutes.
When taking off the facial, try patting the face with a warm washcloth to dampen before removing.
Apply moisturizer.
