TOM HAYES CHILI WITH CHOCOLATE

Steps:

• Cook first 3 ingredients in olive oil, in Dutch oven over medium heat. Stir until ground beef crumbles, then drain. Return mixture to Dutch oven and stir in the chili powder, tomato sauce, and chocolate kisses. Cook over low heat for 15 minutes. Add kidney beans and cook until throughly heated. Garnish if desired.

CHOCOLATE CHILI

Steps:

• 1. In a 3-quart saucepan, spray the bottom of pan with a no-stick olive oil cooking spray.
• 2. Add the ground beef, onion, and garlic, and cook until the beef is brown, and onion is soft.
• 3. Drain the meat, to remove any excess grease, then add the meat back to the pan.
• 4. Add all of the chili powder to the pan, along with the tomato sauce, and the snack-size chocolate candy bars. Cook over a low simmer for 5 minutes; stirring frequently.
• 5. Add the kidney beans, and stir frequently while simmering for 5 minutes, or until the chili is heated through.
• 6. Ladle the chili into bowls, and serve immediately.

CHILI WITH A KISS

Steps:

• In a Dutch oven, cook the stew meat, ground beef, onions and garlic in the olive oil til the beef is cooked, then drain. Return mixture to Dutch oven and add the rest of the ingredients and cook over low heat until mixture is thoroughly heated, the consistency is where you like it, and the flavors blend.
