Ready for the BEST blondie recipe? These Toffee Blondies are soft and have toffee bits baked right in. Plus, they stay soft for days! Blondies are perfect for potlucks, parties or any occasion where you need a sweet treat!

2 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups all purpose flour
6 Skor or Heath bars (, chopped (or 1 1/2 cups toffee bits))

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9x13" pan with foil and spray with cooking spray.
  • Cream brown sugar and butter in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a paddle attachment. Add eggs and vanilla and beat until combined. Add baking powder, salt, and flour and mix. Stir in 1/2 cup of the chopped Skor bars (2 candy bars).
  • Press into prepared pan (dough is sticky, spray your hands with cooking spray to avoid it sticking to your hands). Press remaining chopped Skor bars evenly on top of dough.
  • Bake for 24-26 minutes. Be careful not to overcook - the center will still be jiggly when you take these out of the oven and they will finish cooking and firming up as they cool. Cool completely before slicing into squares.

Number Of Ingredients 10

1/2 cup Golden Crisco Shortening
1 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
2 eggs
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons milk
1 1/4 cups Skor English toffee bits, divided
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease 13 x 9-inch (33 x 23 cm) baking pan.
  • In large bowl, beat shortening and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs until creamy.
  • In medium bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; stir into butter mixture with milk.
  • Stir in 1 cup (250 mL) of the toffee bits and semi-sweet chocolate chips. Spread evenly in baking pan.
  • Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle evenly with remaining toffee bits. Let cool. Cut into bars.

Originally included 1 cup of chocolate chips to be added with the Skor bits, but I am omitting them here for increased accuracy of the nutritional info.There is a similar recipe posted on this site, but that one uses Crisco.

1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
200 g Skor English toffee bits, Chipits brand (1 pkg divided into 1 cup and remainder of pkg)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Beat butter, sugar, and eggs until well blended.
  • Stir in flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.
  • Stir in 1 cup of the Skor bits.
  • Spread in a greased 9x13" pan. Bake for 23-28 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with remaining Skor bits.
  • Let cool the cut into bars.

1 cup packed brown sugar
½ cup butter
2 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup toffee baking bits
1 cup chocolate chips
1 tablespoon toffee baking bits, or to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • Beat brown sugar, butter, and eggs together in a large bowl with an electric mixer. Stir in flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir in 1 cup toffee bits and chocolate chips. Spread evenly into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown and edges have started to pull away from the sides of the pan, 23 to 28 minutes. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle evenly with 1 tablespoon toffee bits.

1 cup canola oil
1/2 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups apples, peeled, cored and diced small (1/2 inch or so) about 2 large apples
1 tablespoon white sugar, and 2 tsp cinnamon combined and set aside

Steps:

  • mix ingredients (all but last two) in the order listed - batter will be very thick - mix until all dry ingredients are incorporated, but try not to over mix, and fold in apples as gently as possible.
  • press batter down into a greased 9 X 13 pan with the back of a large spoon to even out.
  • sprinkle with cinnamon sugar evenly.
  • bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes, until just beginning to brown on top.
  • allow to cool before cutting to prevent crumbling.
