This is one of my favorite things to get at Chili's. My favorite margarita. Very easy and so very good.

A delicious copycat recipe to recreate your favorite margarita in your own home!

1 1/4 ounces tequila
1/2 ounce brandy
1/2 ounce cointreau
1/2 cup margarita mix
1/4 ounce fresh lime juice
1 crushed ice
1 salt, for garnish
1 lime slices, for garnish

Steps:

  • Squeeze the lime juice onto a small dish and pour salt onto a second small dish. Dip the rim of a margarita glass into the lime juice, followed by the salt. In a cocktail shaker, add a handful of crushed ice and all the other ingredients. Shake vigorously, and pour into the margarita glass. Add a lime slice to the side of the glass.

3 cubes ice, or as desired
4 fluid ounces sweet-and-sour cocktail mix
1 ¼ fluid ounces tequila
½ fluid ounce orange-flavored liqueur (such as Cointreau®)
½ fluid ounce brandy (such as Presidente®)
1 splash lime juice

Steps:

  • Rim a margarita glass with salt; place ice into glass. Pour cocktail mix, tequila, orange liqueur, brandy, and lime juice into a cocktail shaker, cover, and shake to combine. Pour into prepared glass.
