I have tried many, many BBQ sauces, but I always come back to this one! Using chile sauce in addition to a little ketchup give this sauce extra flavors to tantalize everyone's taste buds!

1 cup brown sugar
½ cup chile sauce
½ cup rum
¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup ketchup
¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon ground dry mustard
ground black pepper to taste

Steps:

  • In a saucepan over low heat, mix the brown sugar, chile sauce, rum, soy sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, dry mustard, and pepper. Simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool, and refrigerate until ready to use.

1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 onion, minced
3 tablespoons chopped garlic
2 tablespoons chopped fresh ginger
1/2 cup honey
1 (10 ounce) jar chili sauce
1 cup chicken stock
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 1/2 tablespoons thai chili paste
2 tablespoons thai chili-garlic sauce
1 lime, juice of

Steps:

  • In sauce pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add onion.
  • Sauté until soft, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add garlic and ginger.
  • Sauté for 1 minute, making sure not to brown garlic.
  • Add honey, chili sauce, chicken stock, cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, Chili Pepper Paste, Garlic Chili Pepper Sauce and lime.
  • Simmer until thick, about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

¾ cup yellow mustard
½ cup honey
¼ cup brown sugar
½ cup apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons ketchup
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Pinch or more of cayenne
½ teaspoon salt
Dash of hot sauce

Steps:

  • Whisk all of the ingredients together in a large bowl.
  • Add to a small pot and simmer for 10 minutes. Cool.
  • Pour into a jar and cover. Refrigerate at least one day to let the flavors mingle.
  • To serve, warm it up in a small pot and get eating!

1 cup water (hot)
6 dried red chili peppers
4 dried pequin chili peppers
1 large onion ( chopped )
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1/3 cup vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic ( minced )
2 teaspoons dry mustard
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons black pepper
Optional: 2 teaspoons liquid smoke
2 teaspoons paprika
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Place dried chilies in hot water for 15 minutes to soften. Pour water and chilies into a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Sauté onion and garlic in oil.
  • Pour in blended chilies and add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil then remove from heat and allow to cool.
