This recipe is wonderful for outdoor cookouts, and it can be made ahead. It is loved by young and old alike!

Number Of Ingredients 4

2 (15 ounce) cans chili with beans
1 (16 ounce) package beef frankfurters
10 (8 inch) flour tortillas
1 (8 ounce) package Cheddar cheese, shredded

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  • Spread 1 can of chili and beans in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Roll up franks inside tortillas and place in baking dish, seam side down, on top of chili and bean 'bed'. Top with remaining can of chili and beans, and sprinkle with cheese.
  • Cover baking dish with aluminum foil, and bake at 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) for 30 minutes.

  • Heat oven to 375°F. Unroll dough; separate into strips. Cut dough strips in half crosswise. Wrap 1 breadstick half around center of each sausage; pinch ends of dough strip to seal. Place seam side down and about 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake immediately, or cover and refrigerate up to 4 hours.
  • Meanwhile, in fondue pot or medium saucepan, combine cheese and chili. Cook over medium heat until cheese is melted, stirring frequently.
