SIMPLE MARINATED CHICKEN WINGS



Simple Marinated Chicken Wings image

These are my husband's favorite kind of wings. Easy to make and delicious. They taste even better if you double the sauce and marinate for 24 hours.

5 tablespoons soy sauce
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons dry sherry
1 teaspoon prepared yellow mustard
½ teaspoon garlic powder
24 chicken wings

Steps:

  • Whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, sherry, mustard, and garlic powder in a bowl. Arrange the chicken wings in a 9x13-inch baking dish, and pour marinade over the chicken. Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap, and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  • Preheat an oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Remove the plastic wrap from the baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until the chicken wings are no longer pink in the center, about 1 hour, basting occasionally.

This is a quick and easy marinade for chicken or steak. It's my favorite! They prep time does not include the marinating time.

Number Of Ingredients 6

5 lbs chicken wings, cut off the tip part & discard or 5 lbs sirloin steaks, tips
1 cup low sodium soy sauce
1 cup olive oil
7 cloves garlic, mashed
1 teaspoon garlic salt
2 tablespoons lemon juice

Steps:

  • Add all ingredients together (chicken or steak, not both!) in a large bowl and cover or I also use the large ziplock bags.
  • Marinate at least 6 hours, overnight even better!
  • Discard marinade.
  • Bake chicken wings in oven at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
  • Grill steak tips on outdoor grill for 20 minutes or until done to your liking.
