HONEY-MUSTARD BAKED CHICKEN LEGS
Baked chicken legs with a sweet, strong flavor throughout. You can also use chicken thighs for this recipe.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Combine oil, honey mustard, and honey in a bowl until well combined. Stir in garlic, paprika, chives, basil, adobo seasoning, onion powder, and meat tenderizer. Stir until fully blended.
- Coat the bottom of a glass baking dish with 2 to 3 tablespoons of mustard sauce mixture. Place chicken legs on top and cover with the rest of the sauce mixture. Cover dish with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven until chicken is no longer pink at the bone and the juices run clear, 60 to 75 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted near the bone should read 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a pan with foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
- Place the chicken on the pan in a single layer.
- In a medium-size bowl mix the ketchup, honey, soy sauce, mustard, onion powder, and garlic powder to make the sauce.
- Spoon the sauce evenly over the chicken.
- Bake for approximately 40 minutes. Remove from the oven and turn all of the chicken legs over.
- Turn the oven up to 425 degrees. Return the chicken to the oven for another 10 minutes.
- Serve with rice or potatoes and a vegetable.

- Preheat oven to 350 degress.
- Infused oil:.
- in a pot simmer oil over with garlic and herbs for 5 minutes.
- Add honey, lemon juice and zest to melt and blend in simmer 5 more minutes.Cool 5 minutes.
- Chicken:.
- Place panko crumbs in a bowl.
- Lower the skin on legs.
- Dip the legs into the cooled oil right into the pan putting some herbs and garlic under the skin. Bringing the skin up over the infused oil. Then roll to coat the skin.

- Preheat oven to 350F
- Put chicken legs, skin side up, on a foil covered baking sheet. In a bowl, stir together remaining ingredients. Pour half of this sauce into another bowl and set aside to use as a dipping sauce.
- Brush some of the remaining mixture onto each chicken leg. Bake for 40 minutes or until a thermometer inserted into the drumsticks reads 170F (77C). Brush the chicken legs with sauce every 10 minutes during baking.
- Warm the saved sauce in the microwave for 30-40 seconds on high. Serve as a dipping sauce for the chicken. Serve chicken legs with a salad and rice or potatoes.
- TIP: 8 bone-in chicken thighs can be used instead of 4 chicken legs.

- Place drumsticks in a large ziploc bag or food saver bag, pour remaining marinade over chicken, remove as much air from the bag as you can and seal. Refrigerate 6 hours or overnight, turning the bag a few times while marinating to disperse the marinade for best flavor.
- Preheat oven to 400˚F. Place rack in center of oven. Line a rimmed baking sheet or large roasting pan with parchment***,
- Arrange chicken skin-side up, so chicken pieces are not touching. Add enough of the marinade to just coat the bottom of the baking pan and discard anything left in the bag. Bake at 400˚F for 25 minutes. Turn chicken over skin-side down and bake additional 20 minutes. If you want your chicken skin caramelized at the end, remove drumsticks from the oven and turn them over again (skin-side-up), and broil on high for 3-4 minutes or until skins are browned.
