This entree is easy and delicious! It's one of my husband's favorites! Try to use the largest chicken breasts you can find so you'll be able to roll them easier.

4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
¼ teaspoon salt
⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
6 slices Swiss cheese
4 slices cooked ham
½ cup seasoned bread crumbs

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Coat a 7x11 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Pound chicken breasts to 1/4 inch thickness.
  • Sprinkle each piece of chicken on both sides with salt and pepper. Place 1 cheese slice and 1 ham slice on top of each breast. Roll up each breast, and secure with a toothpick. Place in baking dish, and sprinkle chicken evenly with bread crumbs.
  • Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until chicken is no longer pink. Remove from oven, and place 1/2 cheese slice on top of each breast. Return to oven for 3 to 5 minutes, or until cheese has melted. Remove toothpicks, and serve immediately.

1 egg
½ cup milk
2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into chunks
1 cup plain dried bread crumbs
1 cup oil for frying
8 ounces Swiss cheese, cubed
8 ounces cubed ham
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup milk

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Beat egg and 1/2 cup milk together until combined. Stir in the chicken chunks to coat, then drain, and coat with bread crumbs. Heat oil in a large skillet to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Fry breaded chicken cubes in hot oil until golden brown on all sides, then remove, and drain on paper towels.
  • Place chicken cubes in a glass baking dish, along with the Swiss cheese, and ham. Stir together the soup with 1 cup milk, pour over casserole.
  • Bake in preheated oven until golden brown and bubbly, about 30 minutes.

2 cups cubed fully cooked ham
4 cups cubed cooked turkey
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1 large onion, chopped
1/3 cup butter, cubed
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon ground mustard
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1-3/4 cups 2% milk
TOPPING:
1-1/2 cups soft bread crumbs
1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1/4 cup butter, melted

Steps:

  • In a large nonstick skillet, cook ham until browned, 4-5 minutes; drain and pat dry. In a greased 2-qt. baking dish, layer the turkey, cheese and ham; set aside. , In a large saucepan, saute onion in butter until tender. Stir in the flour, mustard and nutmeg until blended. Gradually stir in milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir until thickened, about 2 minutes. Pour over ham. , Combine topping ingredients; sprinkle over the top. Bake, uncovered, at 350° until golden brown and bubbly, 25-30 minutes.

1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
8 ounces penne pasta
1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
¾ cup milk
2 cups cooked, shredded chicken

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 ½ cups grated Swiss cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish; set aside.
  • In a small bowl, combine melted butter and breadcrumbs. Set aside.
  • In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook pasta according to package instructions for 1 minutes less than al dente. Drain.

8 oz of cooked ham, diced
8 oz Ultra Thin Swiss cheese Slices (Sargento)
10.75 reduced-fat cream of chicken soup
1/2 low fat milk
1/2 cup light sour cream
2 tablespoons light butter
1/3 cup panko bread crumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook noodles in the boiling water, stirring occasionally until cooked through but firm to the bite, about 5 minutes.
  • While noodles are boiling, cook the chicken in a skillet with some butter 3 to 5 minutes per side. Set aside. The chicken doesn't have to be cooked all the way through cause it will finish cooking in the casserole dish.

4 cups cornflake crumbs
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
¼ cup butter, melted
10 cooked skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into strips
salt and ground black pepper to taste
6 cups shredded Swiss cheese
1 pound cooked ham, diced
½ pound sliced fresh mushrooms
1 bunch green onions, sliced
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons butter, melted

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Mix the corn flake crumbs, Parmesan cheese, and 1/4 cup melted butter in a large bowl, then spread about 2/3 of the crumb mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Layer half the chicken breast strips over the crumb base, and sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Cover with half the Swiss cheese, then a layer of ham, followed by layers of mushrooms and green onions.

1 lb chicken breast tenders
1 (12 ounce) bag frozen broccoli florets

4 tablespoons butter (divided)
3 tablespoons all purpose flour (see Notes)
2 cups milk (see Notes)
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 cup Swiss cheese (shredded)
1 cup Monterey Jack cheese (shredded)
1 cup Panko breadcrumbs (see Notes)
6 cups shredded chicken
2 cups ham (cubed)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350° Fahrenheit and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Melt two tablespoons of butter in a sauce pan over medium heat, add in the all-purpose flour and cook for 1 minute.
  • Whisk in the milk and Dijon mustard, reduce to a simmer for 3-5 minutes or until the sauce thickens. Turn off the heat, then mix in the Swiss cheese and Monterey Jack cheese.

1 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 1/4 cups milk
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
3 tablespoons finely grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  • Combine soup and milk in the dish.
  • Place the chicken into the dish.

1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
1 cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon cayenne
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with 1 tablespoon butter.
  • Put the ham on a paper towel-lined plate and microwave for about 3 minutes to reduce the moisture content. Mix together the Swiss and Monterey Jack cheese in a bowl.
  • Put about a third of chicken in a layer in the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Top with half the ham. Sprinkle over 1/4 cup of the mixed cheese. Repeat 1 more time, then finish with a layer of chicken.

  • Pour the sauce over the casserole. Sprinkle over the remaining 1 cup cheese, then the panko mix. Bake until the top is browned and the casserole is bubbling, 25 to 30 minutes.

1/2 pound sliced deli-style black forest ham, chopped
1/2 pound sliced swiss cheese
Sauce:
4 Tb butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
4 Tb flour
3 C milk
2 Tb lemon juice
1 Tb dijion mustard
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp pepper
Topping:
4 Tb melted butter
1 1/4 C seasoned bread crumbs
1/4 C parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9×13 casserole dish with nonstick spray.
  • 1. Layer the chicken in the bottom of the dish followed by the ham and finally the swiss cheese.2. Melt the butter over medium heat, in a medium saucepan, and add garlic as it melts. Keep stirring with a rubber spatula to avoid burning. 3. Stir in salt, pepper, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika and lemon juice. 4. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1 minute. 5. Add the milk, slowly. Whisk often to keep clumps from forming. Turn the heat to high and cook until the sauce thickens and boils completely. 6. Pour the finished sauce over the base layer already in the dish. 7. Mix the topping ingredients, in a small bowl, until the butter is evenly distributed over the crumbs. 8. Sprinkle over the top of the dish and bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
