CHICKEN AND LOTUS SEED SOUP



Chicken And Lotus Seed Soup image

Number Of Ingredients 7

1/2 pound dried lotus seeds
1 cup chicken
1/2 cup mushrooms, fresh or canned
1 tablespoon smoked ham
1/2 cup green peas
6 cups Stock, Chicken or favorite stock
1/2 teaspoon sugar

Steps:

  • 1. Blanch dried lotus seeds (see HOW-TO: _Almonds: To blanch). 2. Slice chicken and mushrooms. Mince ham. Shell peas.3. Bring stock to a boil. Add lotus seeds, chicken, mushrooms and sugar.
