A great blondie recipe using tub margarine and no brown sugar.

1 cup margarine
2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chunky peanut butter
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a 10x15 inch jellyroll pan with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, cream together the margarine and sugar. Beat in the eggs, one at a time. Stir in the vanilla and peanut butter until smooth. Combine the flour and baking powder, then stir into the peanut butter mixture. Finally, fold in the chocolate chips. Spread the dough out flat on the prepared pan.
  • Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven, until the tops of the bars look dry. Cool in pan, then cut into squares.

½ cup peanut butter
⅓ cup margarine, softened
⅔ cup white sugar
½ cup packed brown sugar
2 egg
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C ). Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan.
  • In a medium bowl, cream together peanut butter and margarine. Gradually blend in the brown sugar, white sugar, eggs, and vanilla; mix until fluffy. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; stir into the peanut butter mixture until well blended.
  • Bake for 30 to 35 minutes in preheated oven, or until the top springs back when touched. Cool, and cut into 16 squares.

These soft and chewy peanut butter blondies are made with just 5 ingredients and made in one bowl! No flour and 100% naturally sweetened!

2 cups peanut butter
3/4 cup maple syrup (can substitute for honey)
2 large eggs (or flax eggs * See notes)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup chocolate (chopped)

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 180C/350F. Grease an 8 x 8-inch pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add all your ingredients and mix well, until combined. Fold through your chocolate, reserving a few to top the blondies with.
  • Bake your blondies for 20 minutes, before removing from the oven and letting them cool completely, before slicing.

These Chewy Peanut Butter Blondies are rich, peanut buttery and SO delicious! They won't last long!

1 cup butter
1 1/3 cup peanut butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

Steps:

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  • Using a mixer, cream together the butter, peanut butter and sugars.
  • Add the vanilla and eggs, mix until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt.
  • Add the flour mix to the butter mix and combine, don't over mix.
  • Spread the batter in a 9×13 baking dish.
  • Bake for 40 - 45 minutes, or until the centre doesn't jiggle, and the edges are brown.
  • Wait for at least 15 minutes (30 is better) before cutting into squares.

1-1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup chopped peanuts

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, cream the shortening, peanut butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; beat into creamed mixture just until blended. Stir in the chocolate chips and peanuts. , Spread into a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until golden brown.

  • In a standing mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat together butter and peanut butter on medium speed until smooth. Add both sugars and beat until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes. Scrape down the sides and bottom of the bowl as necessary. Add the egg and vanilla and beat until combined. Add flour mixture and beat on low speed just until combined. Don’t over mix. Fold in chopped peanuts (reserve a few for the top if you like).
  • Scrape the dough into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle with peanuts. Bake the bars for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the bars cool completely, then lift the bars out of the pan and cut into squares.
