Three ingredients is all you need to make this outstanding margarita with agave as its sweetener. Perfectly balanced and refreshing, this agave margarita recipe will be your new favorite patio drink.

Steps:
- Run a slice of lime around the edges of (preferably chilled) rocks glasses. Pour margarita salt or kosher salt onto a small dish. Press the rim of the glasses into the salt to coat the edges.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Add tequila, fresh lime juice and agave nectar to the shaker. Cover and shake for at least 30 seconds until ingredients are mixed and chilled.
- Fill prepared rocks glasses with lots of ice and pour margarita over the top.

PERFECT BLUE AGAVE MARGARITA
A very simple and refreshing margarita made with silver tequila, fresh limes and blue agave nectar. Blue agave nectar is a very light and natural sweetener made from the blue agave plant. You can find it at your supermarket (Whole Foods/Sprouts) or online (Amazon). No need for additional sweeteners, triple sec or anything else. Just pure and simple and very smooth. My wife, who hates margaritas on the rocks, loves this mix.

- Place all ingredients in a drink shaker.
- Add ice.
- Shake to cool and mix the ingredients.
