A classic cheesecake with a graham cracker crust and chocolate glaze.

Ingredients

1 cup graham cracker crumbs
2 cups divided sugar
1/4 cup plus 7 tablespoons melted for crust butter
12 oz softened cream cheese
1 teaspoon divided vanilla extract
3 eggs
2 (1 oz) squares semisweet chocolate
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
for serving cherries
or powdered sugar, for serving whipped cream

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350 °F.
Crust:
In a medium size bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs with 1/4 cup sugar and 7 tablespoons melted butter. Mix well and place in the bottom and sides of an 8-inch springform cake pan. Make sure to press against the sides and bottom of the pan. Place into oven and bake for 8 minutes. Let cool.
Filling:
Prepare the filling by beating cream cheese. Mix in 1 cup sugar and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla while beating until well blended. Add in eggs and vanilla and combine. Pour mixture into prepared crust. Place on a cookie sheet and bake for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool to room temperature. Refrigerate overnight.
When ready to serve, top with chocolate glaze, cherries, whipped cream and or powdered sugar.
Chocolate Glaze:
In a medium saucepan melt 1/4 cup butter over medium-low heat. Add chocolate to the butter. Whisk in 3/4 cup sugar, whipping cream, cocoa powder, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and salt. Whisk until combined. Cook over medium-low heat for 2 minutes while whisking constantly.

3 sticks divided, 1 for crust, 2 for filling butter
2 cups sifted cake flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 to 6 tablespoons ice water
2 cups sugar
7 beaten egg yolks
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons cornmeal

Steps:

Crust:
Cut 1 stick butter into flour and salt. Slowly add ice water. Knead dough and roll out on dough board, or press into bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate.
Filling:
Preheat oven to 350 °F. Cream 2 sticks butter and sugar; add egg yolks, vanilla and cream. Gently blend in cornmeal. Pour into chess pie pastry. Bake until light brown on top, about 35 to 45 minutes.

1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
2 eggs
½ cup butter, melted
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
½ cup butter, melted
2 eggs
4 cups confectioners' sugar

Steps:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease and flour one 9 x 13 inch pan.
In a large bowl, mix together cake mix, 2 eggs, and 1/2 cup melted butter. Put into prepared pan.
In another bowl, Beat cream cheese until smooth. Blend in 1/2 cup melted butter and 2 eggs. Gradually beat in the confectioner's sugar. Pour over the crust mixture already in the pan.
Bake for 1 hour. Cool.

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Steps:

Preheat the oven to 350?F. Lightly grease a 13 by 9-inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, mix together the brown sugar, flour, butter, eggs, coconut, vanilla, pecans, and chocolate chips until well combined.
Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan and bake for 30 to 35
minutes, until a toothpick inserted through the middle comes out clean.
Cool the cake completely in the pan before cutting it into squares.
