COOL DOWN WITH THIS MUST-TRY CHERRY, MINT AND LIME JULEP



Cool Down With This Must-Try Cherry, Mint and Lime Julep image

A cherry twist on a classic, this julep gets its sweetness from the maraschino cherry juice. You can use water to finish or club soda if you like fizz as much as I do! For the crushed ice, simply pulse ice cubes in a blender until desired consistency is reached. Cheers!

1 wedge of lime
4 to 6 fresh mint leaves
1 oz maraschino cherry juice
2 oz bourbon
water or club soda, to finish
Maraschino cherry, to garnish
lime wheel, to garnish

Steps:

  • In a cocktail pitcher, muddle together the lime, mint and cherry juice.
  • Garnish with a cherry, lime wheel and spring of mint.
