2 lb. ground beef
1 c. Cheez-It crackers, crushed
2 large eggs
1 packet Lipton onion soup mix
1/4 c. shredded sharp Cheddar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large mixing bowl combine ground beef, crushed Cheez-Its, eggs and onion soup mix. Use your hands to knead together until thoroughly combined.
  • Place the beef mixture in a greased loaf pan and bake until the meat has browned and pulled away from the edges of the pan, about 40 minutes. Top with cheese and broil until melted, about 5 minutes.

12.4 oz cheez it crackers
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup Traeger Prime Rib Rub

Steps:

  • Fill pellet hopper with Traeger Signature Blend Wood Pellets, or pellets of your choosing.
  • Start the Traeger using the smoke setting with the lid open until the fire is well established.
  • Set the temperature between 200-225 degrees F and preheat the Traeger with the lid closed.
  • While the Traeger is preheating, pour the crackers in a large bowl.
  • Add the oil, worcestershire sauce and Traeger Prime Rib Rub to the bowl. Mix gently until all the crackers are well coated with the mixture.
  • Transfer the crackers to a cookie sheet or aluminum pan. Spread out evenly.
  • Place your pan in the smoker and close the lid. Allow to smoke for approximately 90 minutes, stirring them every 30 minutes so they don't stick together.
  • Remove from the smoker and stir. Then allow them to cool down.
  • Serve!

1/2 cup of crushed cheez it cracker
1 egg
1 ounce Lipton French Onion soup mix
1 teaspoon salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients except beef into large mixing bowl.
  • mix them throughly (I use my hands).
  • add beef to mixture in bowl.
  • mix Thoroughly.
  • Patty out as many patties as you can (I usually get 4).
  • Heat pan or cast iron skillet, with preferred oil or butter (or both).
  • cook until done to your preference.
  • Enjoy.
  • You can scale this recipe up or down as needed and add more spices and things you would like.
