HOT AND CHEESY TURKEY BACON SLIDERS

Hot and Cheesy Turkey Bacon Sliders image

Time 30m

Yield 16 sliders

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 (16 ounce) package King Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
1/2 C mayonnaise
2 Tb sweet hot mustard
8 sliced smoked provolone cheese (or swiss cheese)
1/2 C crumbled bacon pieces
1 (12 ounce) package turkey deli meat
1 Tb butter, melted
1/8 tsp dried parsley

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2. Grab a (16 ounce) package of King's Hawaiian Sweet Rolls (there should be 16 rolls).
  • 3. Without separating the rolls, take a sharp serrated knife and cut them in half. Cutting them this way really speeds up the assembly process.
  • 4. Mix 1/2 C mayonnaise and 2 Tb Sweet Hot Mustard (or Honey Mustard if you want to leave the "hot" out). Spread the mayo mixture along the inside of both the top and bottom halves of the rolls.
  • 5. Layer 8 slices of cheese over the sauce and sprinkle 1/2 C of crumbled bacon over the top.
  • 6. Layer 1 (12 ounce) turkey evenly over the bacon.
  • 7. Carefully place the top half of the rolls back over the bottom half.
  • 8. Spray a deep 9x9 inch pan with cooking spray and carefully place the sliders into it.
  • 9. Melt 1 Tb of butter and mix with 1/8 tsp dried parsley. Brush it evenly over the rolls.
  • 10. Cover tightly with tin foil and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the rolls are nice and toasty.
  • 11. Use a serrated knife to cut the rolls apart. Brush more butter over the tops if you so choose. Serve warm from the oven!
  • Enjoy!

CHEESY CRANBERRY BACON AND TURKEY SLIDERS

Cheesy Cranberry Bacon and Turkey Sliders image

These festive and flavorful little sliders are the perfect party food for your holiday potluck - and also a great way to use up those leftovers!

Provided by Rachel Hanawalt

Categories     Appetizers

Time 30m

Yield 8 servings**

Number Of Ingredients 7

16 dinner rolls or slider buns*
1¼ C cranberry sauce or cranberry jelly
2 C sliced leftover turkey or deli meat turkey
8 pieces cooked bacon
7 slices havarti cheese
4 Tbsp butter
½ tsp poppy seeds

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350º F.
  • Arrange the bottom halves of 16 slider buns on the bottom of a 9x13 casserole dish. If some of them are stuck together, I find that they come out of the pan more easily when you're ready to serve if you pull them apart ahead of time.
  • Next, arrange the layers of the sliders. First the cranberry, next the turkey, then the bacon, and finally the havarti cheese.
  • Place the bun tops onto each slider. Melt the butter in the microwave on 50% power for 1 minute, adding 15 second increments as needed until completely melted. Stir the poppy seeds into the melted butter and then evenly spread the poppy seed butter over all of the slider bun tops until the mixture is used up.
  • Bake in a 350º F oven for 20 to 25 minutes. The sliders are done when the cheese is melted and the centers of the sandwiches are hot. Serve immediately.
