Steps:
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
- In a small mixing bowl, combine onion flakes, mustard, poppy seeds and margarine.
- Split each dinner roll. Make a sandwich of the ham and cheese and the dinner rolls. Arrange the sandwiches on a baking sheet. Drizzle the poppy seed mixture over the sandwiches.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until cheese has melted. Serve these sandwiches warm.

- In a large bowl, combine the contents of the roll mix and yeast packets. Stir in the warm water, egg and 1 tablespoon butter. Turn onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 6-8 minutes; set aside. , In a large skillet, saute onion and green pepper in remaining butter until tender. Remove from the heat; stir in ham, cheeses and parsley., On a greased baking sheet, roll dough into a 15x10-in. rectangle. Spoon ham mixture lengthwise down the center of dough. On each long side, cut 1-in.-wide strips about 2 in into the center. Starting at one end, fold alternating strips at an angle across filling. Pinch ends to seal. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 15 minutes or until almost doubled., In a small bowl, beat egg white and cold water; brush over dough. Bake at 375° for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm. Refrigerate leftovers.

This is my friend Jennifer's recipe that she uses a lot for any function that requires food. Everyone loves these so much that I asked for the recipe. The key to making these taste so good is to cook them so the cheese melts but the rolls do not get toasted. These are also good using roast beef and Havarti cheese.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
- Slice each roll almost all the way through, but keeping the top attached. Arrange rolls on prepared baking sheet.
- Stir honey mustard dressing into melted butter until well blended.
- Brush butter mixture inside each roll using a pastry brush, making sure to get the top and bottom.
- Place a layer of Swiss cheese and ham into each roll.
- Close each roll and brush the top with butter mixture. Sprinkle the top of each roll with sesame seeds.
- Bake rolls in the preheated oven until cheese has melted, 5 to 6 minutes.

- Preheat oven to 350F. Line a 9×9-inch or 9×13-inch pan with aluminum foil, spray with cooking spray; set aside.
- Using a large serrated knife, slice the rolls in half so you have a 'slab' of tops and a 'slab' of bottoms; don't pull the rolls apart and slice individually because you want to keep them connected.
- Place the bottom 'slab' of rolls in prepared pan.
- Evenly layer about half of the ham over the rolls.
- Evenly layer the cheese.
- Evenly layer the remaining ham.
- Add the top 'slab' of rolls; set aside.
- To a medium microwave-safe bowl, add the butter and heat on high power to melt, about 1 minute.
- Add the mustard, poppy seeds, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and whisk to combine.
- Evenly and slowly pour the butter mixture over the rolls. Use a spatula to spread the mixture over the tops. Some of the mixture will pool at the base of the rolls.
- Cover with aluminum foil and allow rolls to stand at room temp for about 5 to 10 minutes.
- Bake covered for about 20 minutes or until cheese has melted.
- Uncover and cook for about 3 to 5 minutes, or until as done as desired. Baking time will vary based on the size of pan used, climate and oven variances, etc. Bake until as done as desired; watch to make sure they don't burn since all ovens and ingredients vary.
- Slice into individual sliders and serve immediately. Sliders are best warm and fresh.

Mom has made these for over 50 years. You can add extra seasonings or variations of cheeses. Serve over rice and let the rice absorb the extra cheese sauce. Yum! I've updated using packaged ham for convenience, so make at least 6 to 8 Ham Rolls. If it's pre-sliced thinly, use 2 slices per roll.

- Drain green beans WELL. (I've used reg.cut & French style beans successfully, too).
- Take each ham slice and place approximately 2 ozs.of green beans toward one end of ham.
- Sprinkle the beans lightly with salt and black pepper.
- OPTIONAL: Sprinkle beans lightly with onion and/or garlic powders if you like extra flavor. Original recipe didn't call for extra seasoning.
- Roll up the ham slice where the green beans are tucked in with a 1 inch overlap of ham.
- I run a toothpick through the middle width to hold intact & for easier transportation to plate.
- Arrange ham rolls in an 8x8 or 9x9 casserole dish.
- PREHEAT OVEN to 350 degrees.
- In a medium pot, melt butter on medium-high.
- Add Flour one tablespoon at a time, stir constantly for 2-3 minutes to remove pasty taste.
- Add one cup of Milk at a time to form the sauce, dissolving the flour mixture well. Continue cooking, stirring frequently until the sauce begins to thicken somewhat, about 3-4 minutes. TURN HEAT DOWN to medium low.
- Slowly add cheese 1 cup at at time and stir until melted. Add salt and pepper to taste. (I usually add 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper). Optional: Leftover green beans can be added to the cheese sauce at this time.
- Slowly pour the cheese Sauce over the Ham Rolls and lightly sprinkle top of rolls with Paprika for color.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes until bubbly and slightly browned on top.
- Serve over rice, spooning extra cheese sauce over ham and rice. ENJOY!
