SAUSAGE AND CHEESE CRESCENT SQUARES
Sausage and two kinds of cheese turn crescent dough into a rich and tasty appetizer.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 375°F.
- If using crescent rolls: Unroll 1 can of dough into 2 long rectangles. Place in ungreased 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish; press over bottom and 1/2 inch up sides to form crust. If using dough sheets: Unroll 1 can of dough. Place in ungreased 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish; press over bottom and 1/2 inch up sides to form crust.
- In 12-inch skillet, cook sausage over medium heat, stirring frequently, until no longer pink. Remove sausage from skillet; discard drippings. To same skillet, add cream cheese. Cook over low heat until melted. Add cooked sausage; stir to coat. Spoon evenly over crust in baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese.
- If using crescent rolls: Unroll second can of dough on work surface. Press to form 13x9-inch rectangle; firmly press perforations to seal. Carefully place over cheese. - Bake 21 to 26 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 15 minutes. Cut into small squares.

Every so often I treat my co-workers to something I make at home. They love this treat. Not many calories and good too. You can use any kind of cheese you like. Sprinkle these with garlic salt if you think they need a little more oomph!

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Unroll crescent rolls onto a baking sheet, and press together the seams to form a single sheet of dough.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool.
- Mix cream cheese and mayonnaise together and spread the mixture onto the top of each crescent roll. Sprinkle dill weed or garlic salt over crescent rolls. Arrange the broccoli, cauliflower, radishes and carrots on top of the cheese and mayonnaise mixture.
- Sprinkle the cheese over the veggies. Sprinkle the imitation bacon bits over the shredded cheese. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Before serving cut the crescent rolls into squares.

CRESCENT ROLL VEGGIE BARS
Whip up a quick-fix appetizer or snack with this family favorite recipe for veggie bars made with crescent rolls.

- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Unroll the crescent rolls onto a nonstick baking sheet, separating the dough and arranging it in a single layer covering the entire baking sheet. Press together the perforations, and then using a fork, prick the dough all over. Bake the dough for 10 minutes until golden brown then remove it from the oven and allow it to cool completely.
- In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise and Ranch dressing mix. Using a handheld mixer, blend together the ingredients until smooth and creamy. (Alternately, beat the ingredients together in a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment.)
- Spread the cream cheese mixture onto the completely cooled baking sheet of crescent rolls, covering the entire surface in an even layer.
- Sprinkle the grated broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, tomatoes and scallions on top of the cream cheese then place a piece of parchment paper or wax paper on top and lightly press down the veggies. Cover the baking sheet securely with plastic wrap and refrigerate the bars for a minimum of one hour and up to overnight.
- When ready to serve, slice the sheet into bars and serve.

- Heat oven to 350°F. In medium bowl, mix cream cheese and 1 tablespoon softened butter; beat until smooth. Add chicken, chives, salt, pepper, milk and pimientos; mix well.
- Separate or cut dough into 4 rectangles. If using crescent dough, firmly press perforations to seal. Spoon 1/2 cup chicken mixture onto center of each rectangle. Pull 4 corners of dough to center of chicken mixture; twist firmly. Pinch edges to seal. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Brush tops of sandwiches with 1 tablespoon melted butter; sprinkle with crushed croutons.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.

- 4. Stir together softened cream cheese, mayonnaise and salad dressing mix. Spread over crust.
- 5. Sprinkle chopped broccoli slaw evenly over top and gently press into cream cheese mixture.

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Spray a baking sheet with the nonstick cooking spray.
- Roll out the crescent dough on the baking sheet, into one big sheet without tearing it into individual rolls.
- Press together the seams and bake for 15 minutes or until fully cooked through and lightly golden brown.
- Let cool completely.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and ranch dressing. Using a hand mixer, beat together until smooth.
- Deseed the pepper and dice it along with the red onion.

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Roll out crescent rolls onto a large non-stick baking sheet. Stretch and flatten to form a single rectangular shape on the baking sheet. Bake 11 to 13 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown. Allow to cool.
