Cheddars Queso Dip Recipe Copycat
QUESO DIP
Otherwise known as cheese dip, this is a great recipe for any get together. Cheddar cheese is melted into a smooth, thick mixture. Bring along a couple copies of the recipe, people will ask for it!!

Steps:
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Thoroughly stir in the cornstarch. Stir in the sour cream. When the mixture becomes hot and bubbly, mix in Cheddar cheese and salsa. Continue stirring until cheese has melted and mixture begins to thicken, about 10 minutes. Serve hot.

- Shred the sharp cheddar cheese. Sprinkle the cornstarch on the cheese and mix with your hands.
- With the grating attachemnt on the food processor, grate the onion. Pour the onions in a saute pan and add the onions. Cook on medium heat until the onions are cooked.
- Grate the jalapeno, garlic, and pepper. Add them to the sauteed onions and saute thoroughly. The veggies should be done but not brown.
- Add the evaporated milk, spices, salt and pepper and shredded sharp cheddar cheese. Stir until melted and smooth.
