CHUTNEY CHEESE SPREAD
This recipe is a hit with friends and family. It is an appetizer and is delicious spread on crackers, or as a spreadable vegetable dip. Makes and excellent hostess gift. *Note: This is best if prepared with OLD (Sharp) Cheddar Cheese

Steps:
- Remove fruit chunks from chutney and cut fine.
- Place prepared chutney in medium bowl and add remaining ingredients.
- Mix well.
- Cover and chill one day before serving.
- Serve with thin crackers.
CHEDDAR & CHUTNEY GRILLED CHEESE
Steps:
- Lay 6 slices of the bread on a cutting board and brush each slice generously with the butter. Turn the slices over and spread each one with 1 1/2 tablespoons of the chutney. Place 1/2 cup of the Cheddar evenly on each slice and place the remaining 6 slices of bread on top of each sandwich. Brush the tops generously with melted butter.
- Heat a panini press (see Cook's Note) and grill the sandwiches according to the directions for the machine, until the bread is nicely browned on both sides and the Cheddar is starting to melt.
- Place the sandwiches on a cutting board and cut each one in half diagonally. Serve hot.

Steps:
- Blend cream cheese, cheddar, onion, sherry and spices until smooth.
- Spread on serving plate 1/2 inch thick.
- Chill until firm.
- At serving time, spread chutney over the top and sprinkle with almonds.
- Serve with crackers.

Steps:
- In food processor blend together cream cheese, imperial cheese, and curry powder. Form in a ball on your serving plate and put in fridge for at least an hour, the longer you refrigerate, the more curry flavor you get! Spread chutney on top and sprinkle with the coconut, pecan and currant mixture. serve with apple, celery, crackers and pretzels! Delicious!
CHEDDAR AND CHUTNEY ON BRIOCHE
Steps:
- Cut each roll in half crosswise. Spread the bottom half liberally with chutney. Place a thick slice of Cheddar on top and cover with the top half of the roll.
