CHARCOAL GRILLED SHRIMP RECIPE - (4.4/5)



Charcoal Grilled Shrimp Recipe - (4.4/5) image

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 pounds of large shrimp (fresh or frozen, shelled and deveined)
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup finely chopped shallots or green onions (white part only)
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup dry white wine
1/4 cup finely snipped parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dillweed
1 tbls. Worcestershire sauce

Steps:

  • (Thaw shrimp if frozen) Place shrimp in a shallow ceramic or glass baking dish. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over shrimp. Cover and chill 3-4 hours or overnight. Drain shrimp and reserve marinade. Thread on skewers or place in a wire grill basket. Grill shrimp over hot coals, turning and brushing with reserved marinade often, until pink and cooked through, about 15-20 minutes. Serve with wooden picks.
