1 pound frozen store-bought pizza dough, thawed and risen
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup store-bought pizza sauce
1/2 cup pepperoni
4 ounces fresh mozzarella pearls
1/4 cup torn fresh basil

Steps:

  • Place a 12-inch cast-iron skillet in the oven and preheat to 500 degrees F.
  • Meanwhile, roll or stretch the dough into a 14-inch circle. Carefully remove the skillet from the oven. Drizzle two thirds of the olive oil into the skillet, then carefully transfer the dough to the skillet, pressing the dough up the edges. Spread the sauce over the dough, making sure to get all the way to the edges. Shingle the pepperoni over the sauce and top with the mozzarella pearls. Brush the exposed dough with the remaining olive oil. Bake on the bottom rack until golden brown, 12 to 14 minutes.
  • Transfer to a cutting board, top with torn basil, cut into slices and serve.

1/2 cup warm water (110° to 115°)
1/2 cup butter, melted and cooled
3 large eggs, room temperature
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon salt
3 to 3-1/2 cups bread flour
2 tablespoons yellow cornmeal
1/2 pound ground beef
1/2 pound bulk Italian sausage
1 small onion, chopped
1 can (8 ounces) pizza sauce
1 jar (4-1/2 ounces) sliced mushrooms, drained
1 package (3 ounces) sliced pepperoni
1/2 pound deli ham, cubed
1/2 cup chopped pitted green olives
1 can (4-1/4 ounces) chopped ripe olives, drained
1-1/2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Additional pizza sauce

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. In a large bowl, combine butter, eggs, grated Parmesan, salt, yeast mixture and 2 cups flour; beat on medium speed until smooth. Stir in enough remaining flour to form a soft dough., Turn dough onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, 6-8 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease the top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour., Punch dough down; let rest for 5 minutes. Grease a 12-in. deep-dish cast-iron skillet or other ovenproof skillet; sprinkle with cornmeal. Press dough into pan; build up edges slightly., Preheat oven to 400°. In a large skillet, cook beef, sausage and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink and onion is tender, breaking meat into crumbles, 8-10 minutes; drain. Spread pizza sauce over dough to within 1 in. of edges; sprinkle with meat mixture. Top with mushrooms, pepperoni, ham, olives, mozzarella and shredded Parmesan., Bake until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted, 30-35 minutes. Serve with additional pizza sauce.

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 500°F.
  • Brush 1 Tbsp. oil onto bottom and up side of 12-inch cast-iron skillet.
  • Pat dough into 12-inch round on lightly floured work surface. Lightly press dough onto bottom and up side of skillet. Spread pizza sauce onto dough on bottom of skillet; top with remaining ingredients.
  • Bake 20 to 25 min. or until cheese is melted and edge of crust is golden brown. Remove from oven. Brush edge of crust with remaining oil. Let stand 5 min. before cutting to serve.

1 tsp. Sugar
⅓ c. warm Water
1c. warm Water
1 tbsp. Sugar
1 ½ c. Flour
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 ½ tsp. Pink Himalayan Sea Salt
½ tsp. Oregano
⅛ tsp. Garlic Powder
¼ c. Coconut Oil, melted
½ c. Mrs. Miller's Pasta Sauce
1 lb. fried sausage
Desired amount sliced fresh pepper
Desired amount of green onion
Desired amount of mushrooms
3 c. shredded mozzarella
1 - 8 oz. pkg. pepperoni
2 tbsp. shredded parmesan

Steps:

  • Mix yeast, sugar, and warm water together and let stand 5 minutes.
  • Add all Part 2 ingredients to the Part 1 yeast mixture and mix approx. 5 min., or until dough is smooth and elastic to touch.
  • Begin to knead dough, add approximately 1 ½ c. more flour, or until dough is elastic.
  • Let rise, covered, until double in size; approximately 30 minutes.
  • Next, flatten the dough and it is ready to use!
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Place the melted coconut oil into a large cast iron pizza pan.
  • To the side, roll the pizza dough into a size slightly larger than your pan.
  • Transfer the dough to your pan and "press" it to fit.
  • Spread the sauce onto the dough and add sausage and veggies.
  • Bake for 10 minutes.
  • After 10 minutes, remove from oven and add mozzarella cheese, followed by pepperoni, and top with parmesan cheese.
  • Bake for another 10 minutes, approximately.

1/2 lb ground Italian sausage
1 tsp olive oil
16 oz pizza dough
4 tbsp Marinara sauce
14 slices uncured pepperoni
1/2 green Bell Pepper
3 baby Bella mushroom
1/4 red onion
3 tbsp black olives
1/2 cup shredded cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 500F degrees. Place cast-iron skillet that you will be using to make pizza in the range while it's preheating.
  • Cook the sausage on medium-high heat. Use a wooden spoon to break the large chunks of meat into small ones. Use a well-seasoned skillet, so no oil is needed.
  • Carefully take the hot skillet out of the oven, add a teaspoon of olive oil, use a paper towel to coat with oil inside.
  • Take the dough, stretch it in your hands before placing it in the skillet. Use your hands to form the crust; use your fingers to make a rim.
  • Start layering pizza: add and spread marinara sauce, add cooked Italian sausage, add pepperoni, green peppers, sliced mushrooms, diced onion, sliced olives, sprinkle with cheese. Place in the oven and bake for 15 minutes. Allow cooling time for the cheese to set before slicing.

  • Three hours before you want to serve the pizza, take the dough out of the fridge. Divide the remaining olive oil between two 10" or 12" cast iron pans (2 tablespoons per pan), swirling to coat the pans well and using your fingers to use some of the oil to grease up the sides a bit as well. If you don't have a cast iron pan, another oven-safe skillet, 10-inch cake pan, or even a 9x9-inch square baking dish will work.

  • MAKE PIZZA DOUGH. "You can't make your own dough in 30 minutes, of course," Rach says. "But here's a simple recipe that makes two pizzas and you can keep them on hand in the freezer."
