In the mood for some fettuccine alfredo and lazy to head out? No problem, because you can totally make Carrabba's famous fettuccine alfredo recipe at home!

8 oz fettuccine
½ cup unsalted butter
½ cup heavy whipping cream
¾ cup powdered or grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp divided salt
⅛ tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp chopped fresh parsley
⅛ cup vegetable stock

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot to a boil, add fettuccine pasta and cook by following package instructions. Add in 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  • Drain using a strainer and set aside.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter and pour whipping cream. Mix well.
  • Add in Parmesan cheese, vegetable stock, pepper and the remaining salt. Mix together until cheese is melted.
  • Add the fettuccine pasta and mix until well coated.
  • Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley, stir to completely coat your pasta, and serve!

1 cup whole milk
Kosher salt and ground pepper

Steps:

  • Melt the butter in a small sauce pan over medium heat. Add the cream and milk and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally, being sure that the mixture doesn't boil over. Simmer until slightly reduced, about 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. The sauce can be made up to 2 hours ahead, kept at room temperature.

For the pasta, submerge pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Place pasta in Alfredo sauce. Return to medium heat, sprinkle with grated Romano. Using pasta fork, incorporate Romano into pasta until melted.
