1 cup packed brown sugar
½ cup white sugar
1 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 ½ cups candy-coated milk chocolate pieces (such as M&M's®)

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, mix sugar, eggs, shortening, and vanilla thoroughly. Add flour, salt, and baking soda to creamed mixture. Blend well. Add 3/4 cup candies.
  • Drop dough by teaspoonful onto baking sheet. Slightly push a few candies on top of each dough ball with remaining candies.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 9 to 11 minutes.

½ cup LAND O LAKES® Butter, softened
¾ cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon sea salt
¼ cup creamy peanut butter
⅓ cup rolled oats
1 cup milk chocolate chips
½ cup candy-coated milk chocolate pieces (such as M&M's®)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 8x8-inch baking pan.
  • Cream together butter and brown sugar. Mix in egg and vanilla.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and sea salt together. Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into the butter/sugar mixture. Mix thoroughly.
  • Stir in creamy peanut butter, oats, chocolate chips, and candy-coated chocolates. Spread mixture evenly in prepared baking pan.
  • Bake until set, 25 to 27 minutes. Allow to fully cool before cutting into bars.

1 pouch Betty Crocker™ peanut butter cookie mix
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
Sugar
36 milk chocolate candy drops or pieces, unwrapped

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. Empty cookie mix into large bowl. Break up lumps in mix with spoon. Stir in oil and egg until soft dough forms.
  • Shape dough into 1-inch balls; roll in sugar. Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown. Immediately place 1 chocolate candy on each cookie, pressing down so that cookie cracks around the edge.
  • Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely; store in airtight container as soon as cooled.
