One box of chocolate cake mix - Pillsbury® Reduced Sugar Devils Food Cake
3 eggs
1/2 cup oil
1 1/4 cups water
1 can Betty Crocker Frosting Rich & Creamy Cream Cheese

Steps:

  • Empty cake mix and cake mix ingredients into Rice Cooker Plus and mix together.
  • Add ½ the can of frosting with Small Scoop.
  • Microwave for about 8-10 minutes or until a cake tester inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Microwave time may vary.
  • This is how I've done it.
  • Mix the cake like you normally would but do it all in the rice cooker. Drop 3 -4 spoonfulls of frosting into the batter cover; Bake in the microwave for about 10-12 minutes.
  • Carefully remove lid and check with toothpick and make sure cake is done.
  • Warning, cake will be HOT!!! Once it is comfortably warm, place a plate on top of rice cooker and invert cake onto plate.
  • The frosting will be melted and cake will be HOT!!

  • Put the cake mix into the rice cooker add in all the items listed on the pkg Mix as directed with a wire whip add = 4 to 6 scooped of any prepared canned frosting mix Put the lids on the cooker and in to the micro wave for 9 minutes Carefully remove from the microwave and - invert it on a plate = let it cool and put a few nuts on top.

  • Using a spoon, drop scoops of icing on top of cake batter. Use all the icing. It should almost completely cover the batter. (don’t mix with the batter—just drop on top. The icing will melt to the bottom and the cake cooks on top, like a pudding cake.)
  • Let cool for a few minutes, serve warm topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a glass of cold milk.
