GROUND BEEF CHILI WITH BEANS
A delicious mix of ground beef, chorizo, beans, and vegetables in a hearty tomato base. I entered it in a chili cook-off and it won!

Steps:
- Pour tomatoes into a large stockpot over medium heat.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir ground beef in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and discard grease. Transfer beef to the stockpot.
- Cook and stir chorizo in the same hot skillet over medium-high heat until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and discard grease. Transfer chorizo to the stockpot.
- Heat oil in the same skillet over medium-high heat. Saute onions and garlic until very well cooked and translucent, 7 to 10 minutes. Add cumin and chili powder and cook for about 3 minutes more. Transfer onions to the stockpot with lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Stir black beans, pinto beans, and kidney beans into the pot.
- Heat the skillet over medium-high heat and lightly saute bell peppers, about 5 minutes. Add to the stockpot.
- Add corn to the stockpot and season with additional salt and pepper. Add hot sauce to taste and simmer for 30 minutes more. Sprinkle cilantro on top and serve.

- Brown ground beef in heavy dutch oven or soup pot.
- Add chili powder while browning and mix in well.
- Add onion and pepper to meat and brown for 2 minutes.
- Drain off excess grease.
- Stir in remaining ingredients except for cheese and sour cream.
- Simmer on low heat for 10-15 minutes.
- Serve with shredded cheese and dollop of sour cream.

- Saute the onions, green peppers, jalapeno and garlic. Add in sausage and ground beef and cooked until browned. Drain off the grease.Add 2 cans of beef broth, crushed tomatoes, 2 TBS of chili powder of your choice, 1 TBS New Mexico hot chili powder, 3 TBS Gebhardts chili powder, 1 TBS chipotle chili powder, 3 TBS ground cumin and 1 tsp salt. Bring to boil.Cover pot and set to simmer for atleast 3 hours. Stir every 30 minutes.Add 1 can of beef broth, 1TBS cumin, 1 TBS Gebhardts chili powder, 1 TBS chili powder of your choice, 1 tsp lime juice and both cans of BUSH'S® Chili Beans.Simmer for atleast 1 hour, stirring every 30 minutes.30 minutes before you serve your chili, remove lid to cook off excess liquid. - Cook beef, onion, and ground black pepper until meat is browned. Drain grease. Put the drained beef back into the pan and add the kidney beans, chili powder, pinto beans, salt, black beans, garlic salt, green bell pepper, tomato paste, and the diced tomatoes. Stir to combine, then bring to a boil. Note: Don't drain the beans - that gives plenty of liquid to the chili that is simmered off. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve topped with sour cream and shredded cheese.

This chili is amazing and has great flavor. My sons and I will only use this recipe, we tried others but this is our favorite and chili isn't just for cold winter nights,it is for anytime you are in the mood for chili. I make this alot and there is never any leftovers.

- 1. Heat oil in Skillet. Lightly brown meat, push to the side of the pan, add onion, and garlic (& celery if using). Cook until soft.

- Start by dicing your onion and green peppers and adding them to a large pot and cooking them until the onion starts to get a bit translucent.
- Next add in your tomato sauce, paste, and crushed tomato. We use crush because my kids don't like chunks. Mix well.
- Next, add in your spices (pro tip you can use taco seasoning in a bind!) Mix well.
- Then add in your BUSH'S® Chili Beans. Mix well.
- Let everything simmer on low stir occasionally.
- I suggest simmering at least an hour but I have done it for as little as 15 minutes and it still tastes great!
- Serve with cheese and cornbread!

BUSH'S CHILI BEAN CASSEROLE
My kids (all 4 of them, ages 9 month to 5 years) go absolutely crazy over this! Easy and quick. Great leftover, too.

- Brown ground beef. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Mix beans and ground beef.
- Spray or grease sides of casserole dish.
- Pour beef and bean mixture into 2.2L - 2.6L casserole dish (I use glass).
- In a bowl make the corn bread as directed on the box.
- Either spread corn over beef and bean mixture, or mix it into the cornbread batter.
- Pour cornbread batter over beef and bean mixture (or corn if you spread it), and spread cornbread mixture evenly (making a little thin in the center is better, so it doesn't end up raw in the middle.
- Bake for about 35-45 minutes, check for doneness of cornbread (I generally tap it or go off the color -- if you use cream corn, a toothpick will have a hard time coming out clean).
- Let sit for 5 minutes after removing from oven.
- Scoop into bowls and top with optional ingredients.
