Steps:
- Preheat the oven to broil (525F degrees).
- Unwrap the chocolate bars and divide each into 4 pieces to make a total of 16 pieces of chocolate; set aside.
- Line a large baking sheet with foil for easy clean up. Arrange 16 of the graham cracker
- squares in a single layer on the cookie sheet.
- Top each graham cracker with 2 marshmallows.
- Toast the marshmallows for 1-3 minutes in the oven set to broil (525F degrees) until
- golden brown on top. Use the middle oven rack, not the top rack close to the broiler.
- Important: Do not walk away from the oven while the marshmallows are toasting. They
- can burn very fast! Keep a close eye on the marshmallows as they toast.
- Remove the s'mores from the oven. Turn off the oven.
- Place one square of chocolate on top of each s'more, then return the s'mores to the hot
- oven for 30 seconds to melt the chocolate.
- Remove the s'mores from the oven and top each with the remaining 16 graham cracker
- squares.
- Serve warm. Makes 16 servings.

BURN BAN S'MORES
We always have s'mores when camping...even when there is a burn ban. Using our camping stove and a small pan with a lid, we melt the marshmallows (we use a vegan brand that work well) and chocolate, and then scoop the results onto the graham crackers.

- Cream together the softened butter, peanut butter, and sugars with an electric mixer until well combined and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each egg, followed by the vanilla extract. Stir in the flour, baking powder and salt until well combined. Press half of the blondie batter into the pan.
- Arrange the following on top of the blondie batter in layers. Graham crackers, topped with the Hershey's Bars, a single layer of the miniature marshmallows, and finally topped with the remaining blondie batter. Bake for 30 minutes and then remove from the oven to cool.

- Smores Dip from Fit Foodie Find s: This dip is awesome because you don’t need any utensils! Just dip with graham crackers…easy! If you don’t have a cast iron skillet you could use a pie plate instead.
- Golden Graham Bars from Pinch of Yum: This is the classic recipe with cereal, marshmellows and chocolate. This recipe doesn’t have the corn syrup in it, so if you’re avoiding that, this is a great option.
- Smores in a pan from Snackworks: This is similar to the dip, except the graham crackers are in the pan, so again you’ll need a utensil to get them out of the pan.
- Get an indoor smore maker: This is the method I use most often! It has the fun of actually roasting the smore and is a bit of a novelty item that you definitely don’t need, but if you love smores as much as me you might find you can’t live without it.
- Just make them in the microwave: Take two graham cracker squares and set them next to each other on a plate. Put the chocolate on one side and the marshmellow on the other.
- If all else fails, just get some smore pop tarts! It’s not the same, but it’s a decent substitute (especially while backpacking or when you’re just missing camping so badly!).

- Swap Out the Hershey’s for Other Chocolates. The first and best upgrade for your s’mores is to use other candies besides a plain old Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bar.
- Swap Out the Graham Crackers for Other Cookies. Besides swapping out the inner components of the s’more, you can also change the exterior. Rather than using a graham cracker, sandwich your marshmallow and chocolate (or other candy) between two scrumptious cookies.
- Add Interesting Toppings. Just because a standard s’more has only three ingredients — cracker/cookie, chocolate, and marshmallow — doesn’t mean you can’t add more elements into the mix.
- Dip It in Baileys. S’mores are often thought of as a kids’ treat, but they’re of course enjoyed by all ages — and the grown-up set will particularly like this last twist.
