Buffalo Cheddar Ranch Chex™ Mix image

The crowd will go wild for this snack mix packed with some serious flavor thanks to Buffalo wing sauce, ranch and cheesy crackers.

9 cups Corn Chex™ cereal or Wheat Chex™ cereal (or combination)
2 cups bite-size pretzel twists
2 cups bite-size Cheddar cheese crackers
6 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup Buffalo wing sauce
1 package (1 oz) ranch dressing and seasoning mix

Steps:

  • In large microwavable bowl, mix cereal, pretzels and crackers; set aside.
  • In small microwavable bowl, microwave butter uncovered on High 40 seconds or until melted. Stir in Buffalo wing sauce and ranch dressing mix. Pour over cereal mixture; stir until evenly coated.
  • Microwave uncovered on High 4 to 5 minutes, thoroughly stirring every 2 minutes. Spread on cooking parchment paper or paper towels to cool. Store in airtight container.

2 cups Parmesan-flavored crackers
2 cups pretzel twists
6 tablespoons butter
2 1/2 tablespoons Frank's™ RedHot™ Original cayenne pepper sauce
1 packet ranch dressing mix
2 teaspoons celery seed

Steps:

  • In large microwavable bowl, mix cereals, crackers and pretzels; set aside. In small microwavable bowl, microwave butter uncovered on High about 40 seconds or until melted. Stir in hot sauce and seasonings. Pour over cereal mixture; stir until evenly coated.
  • Microwave uncovered on High 4 to 5 minutes, thoroughly stirring every 2 minutes. Spread on paper towels to cool. Store in airtight container.

  • Melt the butter in a bowl and mix in the hot sauce and seasoned salt. Pour the buffalo sauce over the cereal mixture, tossing well for 3-5 minutes or until the cereal mixture is evenly coated. Spread evenly over two greased baking pans. Sprinkle the cheese over top of both baking pans.
  • Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and toss with blue cheese. Allow the cheese to melt five minutes and then spread on paper towels to cool, about 15 minutes (or just start eating!!). Store in airtight container.
