This is a wonderful recipe that will work with any white fish. I prefer the Tilapia, as it is so mild. This is quick and easy. We serve it with Jasmine Rice, and Black Beans!

1/2 cup parmigiano-reggiano cheese
1/4 cup butter, softened
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon celery salt
2 lbs tilapia fillets

Steps:

  • Preheat your oven's broiler.
  • Grease a broiling pan or line pan with aluminum foil.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese, butter, mayonnaise and lemon juice.
  • Season with dried basil, pepper, onion powder and celery salt.
  • Mix well and set aside.
  • Arrange fillets in a single layer on the prepared pan.
  • Broil a few inches from the heat for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Flip the fillets over and broil for a couple more minutes.
  • Remove the fillets from the oven and cover them with the Parmesan cheese mixture on the top side.
  • Broil for 2 more minutes or until the topping is browned and fish flakes easily with a fork.

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  • Whisk Parmesan cheese, paprika, parsley, salt, and pepper together in a shallow dish.

3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
3 tablespoons light mayonnaise
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/8 teaspoon onion salt
1/8 teaspoon celery seed

Steps:

  • Set oven to broil.
  • Spray Pam on large baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl combine the rest of the ingredients. Mix well.
  • Arrange fillets in a single layer on baking sheet.
  • Broil for 2-3 minutes.
  • Turn the fish over and broil 2-3 minutes more.

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Combine the melted butter, lemon juice, and soy sauce in a small bowl.
  • Place the fillets on a dish, sprinkle with garlic powder, and pour the marinade over the fillets. Turn to coat and let stand for 10 minutes.
  • Heat the broiler to 500 F. Oil the rack of the broiler pan and place it in the oven about 4 inches from the heat source. Heat until the pan is very hot.
