- Preheat the oven's broiler and set the oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source.
- Place grapefruit halves, cut sides up, onto a baking sheet; sprinkle each with about 1 1/2 tablespoon of brown sugar.
- Broil the grapefruit until the brown sugar has melted and begun to bubble, 3 to 8 minutes. Let cool for a few minutes before eating warm.

- Cut grapefruit in half; with a sharp knife, cut around each section to loosen fruit, reserving juice. In a salad bowl, toss the spinach, onion and grapefruit sections. In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine the vinegar, oil, honey, mustard and reserved grapefruit juice; shake well. Drizzle over salad and toss to coat. Serve immediately.

Sweeten up your morning with this nifty way to prepare grapefruit! This is the only way my mother could convince me to eat my grapefruit, and I still eat it this way.

Steps:
- Preheat your oven's broiler.
- Cut the grapefruits in half, and use a small serrated knife to cut out the sections in the halves. Spoon the sections and juice into a bowl, then scrape out all of the remaining thick skins and pulp. Spoon the sections from the bowl back into the halves. This is best done one half at a time.
- Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over the top of each grapefruit half, adjusting as you see fit. Dot with butter. Place the halves on a cookie sheet.
- Broil for 3 to 5 minutes, until the butter is melted and sugar is starting to turn brown.

- In a bowl whisk together vinegar, honey, and mustard and add oil in a stream, whisking until emulsified.
- In a large heavy skillet cook onion and bacon over moderate heat, stirring occasionally, until onion is pale golden and bacon is browned. Add sesame seeds and cook, stirring, until pale golden.
- In a large serving bowl toss together spinach, grapefruit sections, and bacon mixture. Add about half of dressing and toss to combine, adding more dressing if desired.

- Peel and section the grapefruit with a pairing knife over a small bowl to capture any juice. Once you have removed all sections squeeze the grapefruit to extract any left over juice into the bowl. Place sections into a separate bowl. Cut peaches into 1/8ths and brush with oil. Grill for 5 minutes until slightly soft.
- In the bowl with the grapefruit juice add the honey, oil, salt and pepper and whisk until well combined. In a large salad bowl add arugula, grapefruit, grilled peaches, sliced scallions and vinaigrette. Toss well to combine and serve.
