For this wonderful dip, fresh broccoli is combined with sour cream, lemon juice and a pinch of chili powder. Great to serve with chips and raw vegetables.

- In a food processor or blender, combine the broccoli, sour cream, onion, mayonnaise, lemon juice and chile powder. Blend until smooth. Transfer to a medium bowl, cover and refrigerate until chilled.

This guacomole dip wannabe is enhanced with several other ingredients, including lemon juice & green chilies! The original of the recipe comes from the 1995 Vegetarian Times Complete Cookbook. Preparation time includes neither the time needed to cook broccoli stems nor the final chilling time!

- Roast the garlic clove ahead of time or while you're preparing the other ingredients. Let it cool completely.
