LIGHT AND EASY BOW TIE PASTA SALAD RECIPE
A light, refreshing and easy pasta salad, perfect for summer picnics and outings. This lemon basil pasta salad recipe is always a crowd pleaser!

Steps:
- In a large pot of boiling water, prepare pasta until al dente.
- In a small mixing bowl or jar whisk or shake lemon juice, olive oil, mustard and minced garlic until well combined.
- Drain bow tie pasta and rinse with cold water to shock the noodles.
- In a large serving bowl, toss drained pasta with dressing, feta, cherry tomatoes and basil.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Refrigerate until serving (recommend 2+ hours to allow the pasta salad dressing to marinate the bowtie pasta).

- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse under cold water.
- Meanwhile, prepare the dressing. Combine ingredients from vinegar through feta cheese crumbles and mix thoroughly. I use my handheld milk frother for this but you can whisk it too. Then, while whisking, slowly drizzle in olive oil. Alternately, combine all dressing ingredients in a jar or bottle and shake to combine.
- Combine all pasta salad ingredients in a large bowl. Top with dressing and toss to thoroughly combine.
AWESOME BOW TIE PASTA
A delicious pasta salad for salad or side dish that's not heavy, but delightful! Substitute halved grape tomatoes for the diced tomato for variety. This is great for if you need a fast pasta dish, but refrigerate 1 to 2 hours for more blended flavors. Optional: Add sliced black olives.

- Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting salt and fat. Drain. Combine cooked pasta, tomatoes, grapes, and basil in a large bowl.
- While pasta cooks, combine vinegar and next 6 ingredients (through pepper) in a small bowl, stirring with a whisk. Gradually add oil to vinegar mixture, stirring constantly with a whisk. Drizzle vinaigrette over pasta mixture; toss well to coat. Add cheese; toss to combine.
