Number Of Ingredients 6

2 lbs ground round
1/4 onion, grated
1 tablespoon Lawry's Seasoned Salt
1 teaspoon pepper
splash fat-free half-and-half
boursin cheese

Steps:

  • Put the hamburger in a bowl. Grate the onion over the bowl so the onion and the juice goes into the meat.
  • Add Lawry's, pepper and half/half and mix. (You know you have to use your hands) Don't over mix.
  • Form into patties and then season with salt and pepper and Grill.
  • Serve with Boursin on top with your choice of accompaniments.

1/2 small red onion
3/4 pound ground turkey
2 tablespoons Boursin cheese (preferably peppered)
4 slices challah or 2 English muffins
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
Accompaniments: tomato slices and watercress sprigs

Steps:

  • Prepare grill.
  • Finely chop onion. In a bowl gently combine onion and turkey (do not overmix) and form into four 1/2-inch-thick patties. Center 1 tablespoon Boursin on each of 2 patties and top with remaining 2 patties, pressing edges together to seal. Season burgers with salt and pepper and grill on a lightly oiled rack set 5 to 6 inches over glowing coals 6 to 8 minutes on each side, or until just cooked through.
  • While burgers are grilling, brush bread with oil and toast on grill.
  • Serve burgers on bread with tomato and watercress.

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add olive oil and onion rings to the skill. Reduce heat and cook onions on low for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Continue to cook onions until they are soft and turn golden in color. Add balsamic vinegar and cook just until liquid has evaporated. Remove and set aside.
  • In a bowl, combine ground sirloin, garlic, salt, pepper, rosemary and parsley. Shape burgers into 4 evenly sized burgers. Press your thumb into the center of each burger and place patties on your grill. Sear the first side with grill lid open for 4 minutes, flip and cook second side for 4 additional minutes or until desired degree of doneness.
  • Slice each roll. Place lettuce on the bottoms of each roll. Top each with one burger. Place a tablespoon of cheese on each warm burger and divide onions evenly among burgers. Serve.
