Bourbon Spiked Lemonade Recipes

BOURBON SPIKED LEMONADE

Steps:

• In 2-quart saucepan, mix water and sugar; heat to a simmer. Simmer about 5 minutes to create a simple syrup. Once sugar is dissolved, let liquid cool.
• In large pitcher, combine simple syrup, lemon juice, orange juice and bourbon; stir with wooden spoon. Add orange slices, lemon slices and mint leaves.
• To serve, pour lemonade over ice into cups, filling each half full. Top each with club soda. Garnish with mint sprigs.

SPIKED LEMONADE

Steps:

• In a saucepan, add the sugar and water. Heat until the sugar dissolves. Chill until ready to use.
• In a small pitcher, mix together the lemon juice and chilled simple syrup. Add the syrup in stages and taste so it is the right amount of sweet and sour for your liking.
• To serve, place ice cubes in a high ball glass. Add a few mint leaves. Pour some bourbon into the glass to your taste. Add lemonade and top with club soda.

BEER-BOURBON LEMONADE

Steps:

• Mix 1 1/2 cups lemonade, 1 bottle beer and the lemons in a bowl. Pour into ice cube trays and freeze until firm, 3 hours.
• Mix the remaining 4 1/4 cups lemonade, 3 bottles beer and the bourbon in a pitcher.
• Fill beer mugs or tall glasses with the lemon ice cubes. Pour in the drink.

BOURBON LEMONADE

Steps:

• Combine hot water and brown sugar in a cocktail shaker. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Add lemon juice, bourbon, triple sec, and 1 cup of ice. Cover and shake until chilled, 15 to 20 seconds.
• Fill a highball glass with ice. Strain cocktail over ice and top with club soda. Stir to combine. Garnish with a lemon slice.
