Cinnamon Toast Crunch Baked Oats Recipe by Tasty image

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Baked Oats is a perfect breakfast or dessert! This recipe is filled with energy, protein and a little extra sweetness. The Crunchy Cinnamon Toast cereal top compliments the molten peanut butter center. Try this in your oven or an air fryer for convenience.

Number Of Ingredients 8

½ cup rolled oats
⅓ cup unsweetened applesauce
1 egg
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1.5 teaspoons vanilla extract
5 tablespoons cinnamon toast crunch, 2 tbsp for garnish or as desired
½ cup almond milk

Steps:

  • Add your oats, apple sauce, egg, baking powder, cinnamon, vanilla extract, 3 tbsp of cinnamon toast crunch and your almond milk to a blender and blend until smooth. Set aside leftover cinnamon toast crunch for garnish.
  • Transfer the baked oats mixture to a ramekin or loaf dish. Set your air fryer or oven to 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Halfway through add your cinnamon toast crunch to the top!
  • Remove and let cool for 5 minutes. Add more Cinnamon Toast Crunch on top as desired.
  • Enjoy!

Here's what you need: oat milk, apple cider vinegar, flaxseed, water, plain flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, melted butter, vanilla essense

Yield 24 small waffles

Number Of Ingredients 10

2 cups oat milk, warm
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon flaxseed
¼ cup water
2 cups plain flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
5 tablespoons sugar
¼ cup melted butter
1 tablespoon vanilla essense

Steps:

  • Add apple cider vinegar to the warm milk and leave to curdle.
  • In a small bowl, mix flaxseed with water and set aside for 5 mins.
  • In a large bowl, add flour, baking powder, salt & sugar. Mix to combine
  • Add milk, flax egg, melted butter & vanilla. Stir until just combined. Don't overmix.
  • Turn on the waffle iron. Spray with oil. Add 1 ladle of waffle batter. Cook for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Repeat until you have used up all the batter. You can leave the waffles in a warm oven whilst you make the rest. You can also freeze any leftover waffles.
  • Serve on a platter with berries, banana, avocado, maple syrup, bacon, mint, chocolate sauce, peanut butter and whatever you like to serve yourselves!
