My significant other is not a sweet eater and this is one of the few dessserts he likes--other than chocolate chip cookies or pumpkin pie! His mom had made this years ago, lost the recipe, and I found it in one of my many church cookbooks.

Ingredients

1 graham cracker crust
30 large marshmallows
1/2 cup milk
8 ounces Cool Whip
1 Hershey Bar, grated or
2 semi-sweet chocolate baking squares, grated or
1/2 cup mini chocolate chip

Steps:

Melt marshmallows in 1/2 cup milk. Cool.
Add Cool whip and grated chocolate or chocolate chips.
Pour into graham cracker crust.
Chill in refrigerator.

When we first started dating, my significant other asked if I knew how to make "chocolate chip pie". His mom had lost the recipe and hadn't made it in years. I found the recipe and make it about once a year as he isn't much for sweets--other than this pie, chocolate chip cookies and pumpkin pie.

30 large marshmallows
1/2 c milk
8 oz cool whip
2 squares semi-sweet chocolate, grated or 1/2 large hershey almond candy bar, grated or 1/2 cup mini-chocolate chips
1 9-inch graham cracker crust

Steps:

1. Melt marshmallows in milk until smooth; cool to room temperature. Fold in Cool Whip. Stir in chocolate. Put in graham cracker crust and chill in refrigerator.
