Here's what you need: crescent dough, blueberry, cream cheese, sugar, eggs, vanilla, milk

1 tube crescent dough
¾ cup blueberry, fresh or frozen
8 oz cream cheese
⅔ cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
¼ cup milk

Steps:

  • In a mixing bowl beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until creamy.
  • Add eggs, and while beating slowly incorporate the milk until creamy. Set aside.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C.)
  • Using cold crescent dough, roll up crescent rolls and curve into crescent shape.
  • Place rolls in an ungreased 9x9 (23x23) pan.
  • Pour blueberries over the crescent rolls.
  • Pour cream cheese mixture over rolls and blueberries.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 minutes or until rolls have become golden brown.
  • Top with powdered sugar.
  • Enjoy!

Croissants, custard, lemon curd and blueberries combine to make this irresistible yet easy bake that's perfect for dessert or brunch with friends

Yield serves 8 as dessert or 6 as brunch

Number Of Ingredients 6

6 large croissants (leftover stale croissants work well)
500g ready-made custard
250ml whole milk
150g lemon curd
250g fresh or frozen blueberries
icing sugar , to serve (optional)

Steps:

  • Cut each of the croissants in half, then arrange them roughly, overlapping them slightly, in a deep medium baking dish about 20 x 20cm.
  • Pour the custard into a small saucepan and whisk in the milk. Warm over a low heat for 3 mins or until just starting to steam. Whisk through half the lemon curd. Pour the custard over and around the croissants, then set aside for 30 mins-1 hr for the croissants to absorb some of the custard.
  • Heat oven to 180C/160C fan/ gas 4. Nestle the blueberries around the croissants and dollop over teaspoons of the remaining lemon curd. Bake for 35-40 mins or until the top is golden brown. Rest for 10 mins before dusting with icing sugar, if you like.

12 ounces cream cheese,softened
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup milk
Powdered Sugar to serve

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Place croissant pieces in a 9x13 pan.
  • Scatter the blueberries and raspberries over the top.
  • Beat cream cheese, sugar, eggs and vanilla in medium bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.
  • Gradually add milk, mixing until well blended.
  • Pour evenly over croissant pieces. Let stand for 20 minutes.
  • Bake for 35 min or until set in centers and golden brown.
  • Serve warm with powdered sugar sprinkled on top.

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup milk
optional powdered sugar for sprinkling

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Place croissant pieces in a 9 inch square pan or deep dish pie plate. Sprinkle with blueberries.
  • Beat cream cheese and sugar until well blended. Add the eggs, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla in medium bowl with electric mixer until well blended. Gradually add milk, beating well after each addition. Pour evenly over croissant pieces. Let stand 20 minutes or soak overnight.
  • Bake at 350°F for 35 to 40 minutes or until set in center and golden brown. Check the dish halfway through baking...you may want to cover it with foil for the last 10 minutes if the tops are getting too browned.
  • Serve warm sprinkled with powdered sugar.
  • Variation: Instead of baking in a square pan bake individually. Place croissant pieces evenly in 10 (1/2-cup) ramekins; sprinkle with blueberries and pour cream cheese mixture evenly over croissant pieces. Let stand 20 minutes. Bake at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes or until set in center and golden brown.

6 large croissants (cubed)
8 eggs (beaten)
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 bananas (ripe)
1 cup milk
¼ cup brown sugar
1 cup fresh blueberries

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a 9 x 13 inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Cut croissants into bite-sized pieces and place in the prepared pan.
  • In a large bowl, mix eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, bananas, and milk until completely incorporated. Pour over croissants and use a spatula to press down on the croissants, making sure that every piece is saturated in the liquid mixture.
  • Sprinkle brown sugar and blueberries on top then bake for 30-35 minutes (or until the center is firm and fully cooked).
  • Remove from oven and let sit for 5-10 minutes, then cut into pieces and top with whipped cream and fresh blueberries to serve. You can also drizzle maple syrup on top.

1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury™ Crescent Recipe Creations refrigerated seamless dough sheet or 1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury™ refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
Glaze
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 to 3 teaspoons milk

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray large cookie sheet with cooking spray or line with parchment paper. In small bowl, mix cream cheese, granulated sugar, lemon juice and lemon peel with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. 2. Unroll dough sheet. (If using crescent rolls, unroll dough and separate into 2 large rectangles. Overlap long sides to form 13x7-inch rectangle; firmly press edges and perforations to seal.) Spread cream cheese mixture on rectangle to within ½ inch of edges.Sprinkle evenly with blueberries. 3. Starting with 1 long side of rectangle, roll up the dough tightly and pinch the edge to seal. Some of the filling will leak out during baking but that's okay! 4. With a serrated knife, cut into 12 slices. My cream cheese was overly soft so cutting it was tricky. Don't worry if it's messy. When it bakes it will take care of any issues. 5. Arrange slices on cookie sheet in a circle, overlapping slightly. 6. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. 7. In small bowl, mix the glaze ingredients until thin enough to drizzle. Drizzle over warm crescent ring. Serve warm or room temperature. Notes Use a zester or fine grater to grate the skin of the lemon. Make sure you just do the yellow portion and not the white part underneath the skin which can be very bitter.

confectioners' sugar, (for topping)

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • To a medium bowl, add cream cheese, sugar, and lemon juice. Using a handheld mixer, mix until creamy.
  • Separate crescent rolls along the perforated edges. Place each triangle of dough flat on the parchment-lined pan.
  • Top each triangle with about a teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture. Divide blueberries evenly between each of the triangles.
  • Starting with the long edge, roll up the triangle. Gently press the tip of the crescent dough to seal.
  • Bake for 9-10 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Let rolls cool for 5 minutes before serving. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar and enjoy!
