BLUEBERRY BASIL TEA
This easy homemade blueberry herbal tea is made with fresh or frozen berries, plus basil or hibiscus for extra flavor. Serve this summer drink hot or cold!

Steps:
- Add water and blueberries to a large pot over medium-high heat, and bring to a boil.
- When the water begins to boil, use a potato masher to crush some of the berries as they cook.If you don't have a potato masher, you can skip this step.
- After 10 minutes, turn off the heat. Stir in the basil or hibiscus and cover the pot. Steep for 10 minutes.
- Strain the liquid through a fine mesh sieve or strain through cheesecloth. Use the back of a wooden spoon to push extra juice from the berries.Tip: Cheesecloth will yield the clearest juice without sediment, but a fine mesh sieve will catch most of the sediment.
- If desired, add sweetener to taste. Serve hot, or chill in the fridge and serve cold.Store leftover tea in the fridge and use within a week.

BLUEBERRY ICED TEA

Steps:
- Combine blueberries and about a cup of iced tea in a blender and puree until smooth. Strain through a fine sieve into a pitcher and add remaining iced tea. To serve, pour into glasses over ice.
BLUEBERRY-BASIL LIMEADE

Steps:
- Place the sugar, basil sprigs and 1 cup of water into a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Cook, stirring every so often, until the sugar has dissolved, about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and let steep for 30 minutes.
- Discard the basil and pour the syrup into a pitcher. Stir in the lime juice and 4 cups of cold water. Add the blueberries and chill for at least 4 hours or until ready to serve.
- To serve, put some ice in a glass, pour over the limeade and garnish with basil leaves. To make into a cocktail, add ice to a rocks glass and top with 1 1/2 ounces gin. Top off with the limeade and garnish with basil.
PEACH BLUEBERRY-BASIL ICED PEACH TEA
Steps:
- Crush blueberries and basil with wooden spoon in 1-quart glass measuring cup. Stir in Pure Leaf™ Not Too Sweet Peach Tea. Strain and serve in ice-filled glasses. Garnish, if desired, with additional blueberries and basil.
- For a pitcher, simply double the recipe.
- For a cocktail version, simply add ¼ cup light rum.
