BLUEBERRIES & CREAM OATMEAL
Also known around here as "purple oatmeal," this creamy and colorful breakfast is a healthy way for everyone to start their day. To make it vegan, just use almond milk.

Steps:
- Add oats, water, milk, chia seeds, maple syrup, and 1 cup blueberries to a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir to combine. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the mixture comes to a boil, about 5 minutes. Reduce heat and simmer until the oats have thickened and most of the berries have burst, turning the oatmeal purple, about 5 more minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Scoop into bowls and divide remaining berries between the two. Drizzle with milk. Add optional toppings if desired. Serve.
BLUEBERRY OATMEAL CREAM BRULEE
This is actually a really easy and quick recipe to prepare, but the finished results don't seem like it at all! The combination of blueberries and cardamom is a winner. This took a blue ribbon at the state fair!

Steps:
- Combine heavy cream and cinnamon stick in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove pan from heat; discard cinnamon stick. Add 3 tablespoons maple syrup and cardamom.
- Bring water to a boil in a large saucepan; add oats and salt. Cook and stir for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, add cream mixture, 2 tablespoons maple syrup, and brown sugar; stir to combine. Cover and let stand for 2 minutes.
- Set oven rack 4 to 6 inches from the heat source and preheat the oven's broiler. Grease seven 6-ounce ramekins.
- Divide blueberries equally among the ramekins. Spoon oatmeal mixture on top. Sprinkle white sugar over oatmeal. Place filled ramekins on a rimmed baking sheet.
- Broil in the preheated oven until sugar is melted, 7 to 9 minutes.

- Bring water or milk to a boil in a medium saucepan. Stir in salt and oats. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, stir in butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. Spoon mixture into 4 serving bowls. Top each serving with 3 Tbsp blueberry syrup and 2 Tbsp whipping cream. Serve with optional blueberries.

Steps:
- Gather the ingredients.
- Add the water and the cinnamon stick to a saucepan. Cover the pot and bring the water to a boil.
- Add the Cream of Wheat. Using a whisk , stir well so there are no lumps.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer uncovered for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes until the Cream of Wheat has thickened.
- Remove from the heat and discard the cinnamon stick.
- Sweeten with sugar and milk, stirring until everything is fully incorporated.
- Top with fruit and drizzle with honey if desired. Serve and enjoy.
