4-6 oz. of Roquefort Bleu Cheese
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup whipping cream
½ cup sour cream
½ tsp worcestershire sauce
½ tsp lemon juice
1 tsp sugar
½ tsp sea salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 garlic clove (finely diced)

Steps:

  • Crumble blue cheese if not already crumbled.
  • Add all ingredients to mixing bowl, stir until thoroughly mixed.
  • Enjoy!

1 pint sour cream
2 tablespoons white vinegar
½ cup mayonnaise
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon celery salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
6 ounces Roquefort cheese

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the sour cream, vinegar, mayonnaise, salt, garlic powder and celery salt. Crumble cheese to desired fineness and whisk into dressing.

This blue cheese dressing recipe can be made with any type of blue cheese. Serve on a green salad, alongside Buffalo wings, or on grilled steak.

1 cup sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
2/3 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
4 ounces blue cheese (finely crumbled)

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Whisk together the sour cream, mayonnaise, buttermilk, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, mustard, garlic powder, pepper, and salt.
  • Once thoroughly mixed, stir in the crumbled blue cheese. Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours before serving. Overnight is even better.
  • Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and ground black pepper if necessary.
  • Serve with Buffalo wings, a salad, or steak. Enjoy.

You just can't beat homemade Roquefort salad dressing. Whether you call it blue cheese dressing or Roquefort, this dressing is so good!

1 Quart Best Foods mayonnaise ((30oz. size container))
4 oz. Roquefort cheese (crumbled (your favorite blue cheese works great))
1/4 cup green pepper (minced)
1/4 cup green onion (minced)
1 tablespoon chili sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
pinch garlic salt
pinch onion salt
pinch celery salt

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients together well and chill overnight. Serve chilled.

3 oz. Blue or Roquefort cheese
1 pint mayonaise
1/2 tsp worchestershire sauce
1 TBL garlic powder (I use 1 tsp)
1 TBL chives, fresh copped
1 TBL pepper, fresh coarse ground
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup buttermilk

Steps:

  • In a bowl, crumble blue cheese with a fork. Add mayonaise, worchestershire sauce, garlic powder, chives, & ground pepper. Add and mix in sour cream and buttermilk. (You can omit sour cream and add 1 cup of buttermilk only.) If dressing gets too thick you can add a little more buttermilk. This keeps for 2 weeks - refridgerated Grandma's note: "blue cheese is just as good as roquefort and a lot less expensive"

1/2 pint(s) sour cream
1 package(s) 3 or 4 oz crumbled blue cheese or roquefort cheese
- salt, pepper, garlic powder and celery seed to taste

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients together then put in the refrigerator for about an hour. Taste it as it tends to get stronger once it's been chilled. Add a little more this or that as needed. If it tends to be to thick before serving, just add a little water. Great on salads but also makes a great veg. dip. Put in air tight container and it will last for weeks. Enjoy
