BLUE CHEESE DIP II
Blue cheese crumbles kindly lend their distinctive flavor to this simple, smooth mixture. Serve with corn chips. This dip tastes better the longer it chills before serving.

BLUE-CHEESE SPREAD
So easy to make yet special enough for your next cocktail hour or dinner party appetizer, all you need for this Blue-Cheese Spread is two ingredients, cream cheese and a creamy blue cheese such as Roquefort. Whizz them together in the food processor to create a smooth, spreadable consistency then season with salt and pepper and you're ready to serve. - 1. SPREAD: Combine cottage cheese, blue cheese, garlic, and lemon juice in a food processor or blender. Process until smooth. Add green onions, basil, and almonds. Blend until mixed but still lumpy and not smooth. Pour dip into serving bowl and refrigerate until ready to serve.
- 2. BREAD: Spread melted butter on both sides of bread slices. Lay on a non-stick cooking sheet. Stir together garlic powder and salt. Sprinkle on one side of buttered bread. Turn on broiler and allow it to heat up a moment. Broil bread about 6-8 inches from heating element for 30-45 minutes per side. Serve warm with Blue Cheese Herb Spread on the side.
BLUE CHEESE SPREAD
My own blue cheese spread...you can use it with crackers and/or veggies for a flavorful appetizer. Bake on slices of baguette for a tasy crostini. Place inside burgers before baking or just spread it on the bun. The cranberries are optional but add a slight bit of sweetness and very pretty color.
