Banana Popsicles recipe made with fresh bananas and only four ingredients!

1½ cups milk
2 large ripe bananas (mashed (about 1 cup))
¼ cup powdered sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Place all of the ingredients in a blender and puree on medium speed until completely smooth.
  • Divide the mixture evenly between popsicle molds and insert popsicle sticks. Freeze for 4 to 5 hours before serving.

1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons Hersheys cocoa powder
2 1/2 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon butter

Steps:

  • In a small saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, cocoa, and milk.
  • Cook on medium until thick.
  • Remove from heat and add vanilla and butter and stir until combined.
  • Place in molds and freeze until firm.

2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 1/2 cups whole milk, divided
1 1/3 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon fine salt
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

Steps:

  • In a medium saucepan, whisk together cornstarch and 2 tablespoons milk until smooth; whisk in remaining milk, cream, sugar, cocoa, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium-high, stirring constantly, and cook 1 minute.
  • Transfer to a large liquid-measuring cup and stir in vanilla. Pour into 10 3-ounce ice-pop molds and insert ice-pop sticks. Freeze until pops are solid, about 6 hours (or up to 1 week). Just before serving, briefly run molds under hot water to release pops.

These banana fudge pops feature oat milk and ripe bananas for a rich, delicious vegan dessert.

1/2 cup oat milk (or other milk of choice)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup cocoa powder
2 cups sliced ripe bananas, frozen ((2 large bananas))
2 tbs maple syrup

Steps:

  • Place all the ingredients in a blender or food processor in the order listed, and process until smooth.
  • Transfer the mixture to popsicle molds, leaving about ½ inch of headspace to allow the popsicle to expand. Freeze the popsicles for several hours, or until frozen solid. (I use the Tovolo Star Ice Pop Molds, which I like because they're not too big and they have a handy base that fits well in the freezer.)
  • To remove the frozen popsicles from their molds, leave them out on the counter for several minutes, or run them under lukewarm water to loosen.

A creamy and rich banana pudding ice cream with real banana flavor and wonderful pieces of Nilla wafers mixed in.

1 1/2 cups half and half
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 eggs, (beaten)
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 very ripe bananas (mashed)
1 cup crushed Nilla wafers

Steps:

  • In a saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the half and half, brown sugar, white sugar, and salt. Stir until sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes.
  • Take saucepan off heat. Place eggs in a medium bowl. While whisking, gradually (to not curdle the eggs) add about half the sugar mixture to the eggs.
  • Pour egg mixture into saucepan with the half and half that remained in the saucepan.
  • Stir in cream.
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until mixture thickens and coats the back of a spoon. About 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Take saucepan off heat and stir in vanilla extract. Pour mixture through a fine-meshed sieve into a bowl and let cool to room temperature.
  • Once cooled, stir in mashed banana and pour into an ice cream maker. Use manufacturer's directions to freeze. Add Nilla wafers about 5 minutes before end of freezing time.
  • If ice cream is too soft for your liking at this point, place in freezer for about 1 hour.

  • I like to take the bananas out of the freezer a good 30 minutes or so before I start. This will give the bananas a chance to thaw a wee bit so when you toss them in the blender, you don’t break the thing.
  • Once your bananas are thawed somewhat {but still frozen} place them in a blender {I used my Blendtec}. Add the cocoa and vanilla and pulse until well blended. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds and freeze overnight.
