BLONDE BROWNIES II
A lighter version of brownies.

Steps:
- Melt butter or margarine. Add sugar and mix well. Cool.
- Add eggs and vanilla, blend well. Add the rest of the ingredients except the chocolate chips.
- Put into a greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and bake at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Butter a 9-by-13-inch baking pan. Line the pan with parchment, leaving an overhang, then butter the parchment.
- Whisk the flour, baking powder and salt together in a medium bowl and set aside. In another bowl, whisk the melted butter and brown sugar together until combined. Add the vanilla and eggs and stir to combine. Fold the flour mixture into the wet ingredients, being careful not to overmix. Fold in the walnuts and 1 cup of the chocolate chips. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Scatter the remaining 2 tablespoons chocolate chips over the batter.
- Bake until the top is a light golden brown, 20 to 25 minutes, being careful not to overbake. Let cool on a wire rack. Remove the blondies from the pan and transfer to a cutting board. Cut into rectangles, sprinkle with flaky salt and serve.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.
- Measure 1 cup sifted flour. Add baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Sift again. Add 1/2 cup chopped nuts. Mix well and set aside.
- Stir the brown sugar into the melted butter and mix well. Cool slightly.
- Mix the beaten egg and vanilla into the brown sugar mixture. Add flour mixture, a little at a time, mixing just until combined.
- Spread the batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle 1/2 to 1 cup chocolate chips on top. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 20 to 25 minutes.

- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in toffee bits., Spread into a greased 13x9-in. baking pan. Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. Cut into bars.

This recipe is on part of a bag of Bits 'O Brickle from who knows when. Thought it would be a good idea to post it before I misplace it (again). It is a good recipe, try it.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Grease 8-inch square pan.
- I use cooking spray.
- In a separate bowl mix flour, baking powder and salt, set aside.
- Beat eggs well.
- Gradually add both sugars and beat until thick and creamy.
- Add melted butter and vanilla and almond extract.
- Gently stir in flour until mixture is moist.
- Fold in in Bits'O Brickle (and nuts).
- Pour into prepared pan.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Cool completely before cutting.

- 1. Preheat oven to 350. Melt butter or Margarine, add to brown sugar, set aside.
- 2. Beat eggs add to sugar and butter.
- 3. Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, vanilla. Nuts if used.
- 4. Spread into a 13 x 9 pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of batter. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes. Cover these when you take out of the oven. They will stay soft.

I got this recipe from the Heath Toffee Bits bag several years ago. I wanted something different from the traditional chocolate brownie, so I decided to try it and found it to be YUMMY. *Will post a picture the next time I make these.

- 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 13x9-inch baking pan; set aside.
- 2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. In a mixer bowl with paddle attachment, beat the eggs well. Gradually add the sugars; beat until thick and creamy. Add the melted butter and vanilla extract. Gently stir in the flour mixture; blend until moistened. Fold in 1/2 cup of the toffee pieces and the pecans. Pour into the prepared pan.
- 3. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of toffee pieces over the top. Cool completely in the pan before cutting.
