Black garlic is naturally sweet and pairs perfectly with chocolate.

½ cup roasted honey peanut butter (such as Skippy®)
½ cup chocolate protein powder
2 solo black garlic bulbs
2 tablespoons Neufchatel cheese, softened
2 tablespoons sanding sugar, or as needed

Steps:

  • Combine peanut butter, protein powder, black garlic, and Neufchatel cheese in a mini food processor. Pulse until well combined.
  • Roll mixture into sixteen 1-inch balls. Roll in sanding sugar. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

All the goodness of chocolate chip cookies plus protein, fiber, and vitamins. Even my picky kids love them. I keep them in the freezer and pop a couple into lunches for a nutritious treat.

2 cups all-purpose flour
⅔ cup soy protein powder (such as MLO®)
⅓ cup oat flour
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup plain Greek yogurt
½ cup butter, softened
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 tablespoons milk, or more as needed
2 cups chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Combine all-purpose flour, soy protein powder, and oat flour together in a bowl.
  • Beat white sugar, brown sugar, yogurt, and butter together in a large bowl with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Add vanilla extract. Stir in flour mixture. Mix in milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, until batter is thick and smooth. Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Roll batter into 1-inch balls with your hands. Arrange on a baking sheet. Transfer to the freezer and chill until firm, about 1 hour, or in the refrigerator, 2 to 3 hours.
