Ingredients

1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar
2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup fat-free egg product

Steps:

Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
In 1-quart saucepan, heat butter over medium heat 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned. Pour into small bowl; cool 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, in large bowl, mix brown sugar, flour, baking powder and salt. Add egg product to browned butter; stir with whisk. Pour butter mixture over flour mixture; stir just until moistened. Spoon batter into pan; smooth top with spatula.
Bake 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely in pan on cooling rack, about 1 hour. Cut into 8 rows by 6 rows.

I came across this on the net while browsing. A quick and easy one bowl dessert, especially great for moms who work, or for those young, up and coming chefs in your family.

Ingredients

1 2/3 cups granulated sugar
3/4 cup butter or 3/4 cup margarine, melted
2 tablespoons water
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/3 cups Bisquick
3/4 cup baking cocoa (Nestle's or Hershey's)
3/4 cup chopped pecans (optional) or 3/4 cup walnuts (optional)

Steps:

Put all ingredients into one bowl and mix with a hand mixer until blended good.
The batter will be thick. Put into 9x13 pan and bake at 350° for 18-25 minutes.

Very easy and simple to prepare, if you have Bisquick baking mix around...these come out light and moist (Note: I have always used original Bisquick baking mix for this recipe, so I can't promise the same results with a Bisquick clone).

2 cups Bisquick baking mix (original)
2 1/3 cups light brown sugar, firmly packed
4 large eggs
1/2 cup margarine or 1/2 cup butter, softened
1 (3 1/2 ounce) can coconut
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans or 1/2 cup mini chocolate chip
1 -2 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

Set oven to 350 degrees.
Grease a 13" x 9" baking pan.
In a bowl, mix all ingredients with a wooden spoon.
Pour into prepared baking pan.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until brownies test done.
Cool on rack.
Cut while warm.
Note: 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips may be added to batter replacing the chopped nuts, making it butterscotch-chocolate chip brownies.

Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray and set it aside.
In a 2 quart sauce pan over medium heat, melt the butter, stirring it with a wooden spoon so it doesn't scorch. Add the brown sugar and cook, stirring, until it dissolves into the butter. This will take 2 to 3 minutes.
Remove the pan from the heat and add the granulated sugar, biscuit mix, vanilla, and eggs. Stir until everything is well blended.
Stir in the butterscotch chips and pecans. With a rubber spatula, scrape the batter into the prepared pan.
