BEV'S SEASONED SALT
A mix of spices and salt. I prefer to use fresh garlic, onions and parsley. But if you like, you can add 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1 tablespoon dried minced parsley to the mix. I also use 1 teaspoon of lemon juice for every teaspoon of seasoned salt to really bring out the flavors.

- Pour the salt into a small mixing bowl. Whisk in the sugar, oregano, celery seed, paprika, thyme, turmeric, curry powder, chili powder, marjoram, and mustard until evenly blended. Store in a tightly sealed shaker jar.

BEV'S MAC AND CHEESE
This is a quick and delicious version of an American classic made with sharp Cheddar. Add diced ham or tomatoes, or top with more cheese and broil for a crispy Cheddar crust.

- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain and reserve.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine milk, flour and salt and pepper to taste; whisk or beat until smooth. Add butter and cheese; microwave on high for 5 minutes and whisk until smooth. Microwave for an additional 4 to 5 minutes and whisk or beat until smooth and no lumps remain.
- Add cooked pasta to mixture; stir and serve.

DELICIOUS CHICKEN SALAD
Creamy Chicken Salad with walnuts, grapes and water chestnuts and lots more. This was made after we made a chicken in the crock-pot and had a lot of left overs. I looked a number of chicken salad recipes and none had all the ingredients I wanted. So I decide to experiment and this is what I came up with. I admit the spices and herbs are estimates as I just eyeballed how much I put in. So feel free to adjust to your tastes.

Steps:
- diced chicken in small cubes and place in large mixing bowl.
- finely dice red onion, hard boiled egg and celery.
- if you did not buy the chopped walnuts then chop them now.
- quarter the red grapes and quarter the water chestnut slices.
- add all ingredients to the large mixing bowl.
- add the diced water chestnuts, chopped walnuts and relish (I prefer the sweet pickle relish cubes). and shredded Parmesan cheese not grated.
- in separate bowl mix the mayonnaise, organic sour cream and all herbs and spices and mix well.
- add the dressing mix in the dry ingredients until it is to the desired consistency/moistness you prefer. I used all the dressing and it was perfect for me but you may prefer a less moist salad.
- refrigerate for at least an hour for best flavor.
- serve on large bakery crescent rolls or bread of your choice.

This is the chicken salad recipe that is so delicious that I don't bother making any other anymore. If I have any leftover chicken, this chicken salad will be my lunch the next day! I love it! Easy and light! Enjoy!

CAJUN CHICKEN SALAD
Steps:
- In a large bowl, combine chicken, celery, onions, and bell peppers.
- In another bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic, vinegar, broth, and Cajun seasoning. Pour the dressing over the chicken and vegetables and toss well to coat.
- Cover bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Stir a couple of times during the chilling process.
- Much of the excess dressing will be absorbed by the other ingredients in the salad. Serve on its own or on lettuce leaves.

- Heat the oil in a large skillet on medium high. Season the chicken on both sides with salt and pepper. Sear on one side for 5 minutes. Flip and sear another 4 minutes, or until cooked through and the chicken is browned on both sides. Let cool for five minutes, then chop. At this point, you can even stick a bowl of chopped chicken in the freezer for 5-10 minutes, just to help it really chill.
- Then add the yogurt, mayo, red onion, celery, honey, parsley, and a good pinch of salt and pepper to the bowl. Toss everything together until coated and creamy and you want to sob.
