I want to give credit where credit is due. I changed Lisa Mersereau "better than sex fruit salad recipe" cause my wife does not like cherries. So I removed the cherry pie filling and replaced it with apple pie filling, food coloring, mandarin oranges and doubled the cool whip. OMG it was out of this world. Thanks Lisa.
5-6 drops of red food coloring (or what ever color you would like to make it)
Steps:
1. in a large mixing bowl (5 quart) mix together cool whip, sweetened condensed milk, sour cream and food coloring.
2. stir in remaining ingredients.
3. cover and refrigerate for at least four hours. serve.
